Introduction to Accelerated Profits Summit
The Accelerated Profits Summit featuring Jeff Brown (and hosted by Chris Hurt) was an advert for Jeff’s new investment advisory service, Early Stage Trader.
During the summit, Jeff shows you how you can make one trade every month, which is enough to turn a $5,000 investment into $151,740 every year.
Although he doesn’t reveal every bit about his proprietary trading system, he reveals that it targets pre-IPO biotech companies. His strategy capitalizes on market inefficiencies in the biotech sector.
Biotechnology is an area of biology concerned with developing tech-based products that use biological systems to function. If that’s still confusing, think of the work that pharmaceuticals do to tackle human diseases using technology.

Who is Jeff Brown?
Jeff Brown is a Silicon Valley venture capitalist who’s been active in the tech industry for 26 years. He is also the technology investment expert at Bonner and Partners. I even recently reviewed his “#1 Tech Stock For 2020” pitch here.
While I can’t verify whether it is factual, Chris Hurt claims that last year, Jeff had a 95.3% success rate. This stems from 106 out of 111 investments in his “venture capital fund” being successful. If true, he could have ranked as the top-performing VC fund.
He hasn’t just been a passive investor, he has built and run startups that ended up generating hundreds of millions of dollars in sales revenues. He sits on the boards of a dozen tech firms.
He has worked for multi-billion dollar enterprises like NXP Semiconductors and Qualcomm where he was the head of the Global Strategy Division.
Jeff got his MBA from the London School of Business and attended Ivy League schools like Stanford, Yale, and MIT for his post-graduate studies.

How does Accelerated Profits Summit Work?
One day, while Jeff was screening tech companies looking for those he would invest in, he realized that some companies were consistently but unexpectedly posting great results. He had spotted an anomaly.
On closer inspection, he realized that these companies belonged to one small subsector of the tech market – they were all biotech companies. Since he hadn’t worked in that subsector, it took him a while to notice why the anomaly kept happening.
He went on to develop a system of identifying good investments before IPO. When he tested his system against 87,000 hours of market data (more than a thousand potential deals), his success rate was above 96.5%.
For his proprietary stock-picking system to work the stocks that make it through it must meet ALL criteria.
Although he doesn’t reveal his criteria, one of the requirements is that a company must have sufficient funding from venture capitalists so that it doesn’t need to IPO to raise funds.
If it decides to go public, it does it because it has a breakthrough, say successful trials of a drug or FDA approval, and it would benefit from a bit of publicity.
Speaking of which, biotech companies that go public usually attract potential partners that may help them become even more successful, and as a side benefit, their valuations usually go up.
Since there are many companies to sift through, he runs a set of specialized algorithms using powerful computers that enable him to find viable investment candidates faster.
For example, while backtesting his algorithm, it went through 1,348 companies and selected 88, out of which 85 had positive returns.
He doesn’t buy and hold for a long time; He buys, rides the price spike that comes after a major announcement and then cashes out.

What you get for attending Accelerated Profits Summit
If you sit through the presentation, he mentions that he has three plays ready to go. They have all passed his criteria and have ample VC backing. They are also all biotech companies.
The first deal is a biopharmaceutical company that deals with neurodegenerative diseases like dementia, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s. Two of the Venture Capitalists funding it have backed some of the biggest winners in the past indicating that they have seen something appealing about it.
The second one is a biopharmaceutical company working on inflammatory diseases, oncology, and immunology. They also have high-yielding VCs and are offering investors the chance to get in at a discount below what IPOs investors should pay.
The three deals including their buy-in prices are covered in a report called Accelerated Profits: Three Early Tech Deals to Buy Now.

Accelerated Profits Summit Verdict
Jeff Brown has been involved with the tech industry in various capacities. He moved on from working full time for top tech firms to investing in tech startups. To have someone of his experience offering you advice will improve your chances of making money from your investments.
Besides, if you want to invest in pre-IPOs, finding the information you’d need to vet them is tough because, at that stage, companies are not obligated to publish their earnings reports. However, with his connections, he can access this information.
