I came across Jared Goetz on YouTube and then on Facebook and decided to register for his eCom Hacks case study.

After taking a closer look I’ve decided to share more details and give you my honest opinion and review on eCom Hacks / eCom Hacks Academy.

eCom Hacks Academy Review

I’ll be honest when I saw the photo of Jared standing in front of his Lamborghini Gallardo I thought this was another one of those hyped up sales pitches of some guy claiming he made all this money, when he probably just went and rented a Lambo and shot a quick video of some bogus product for eCom Hacks.

Truth be told I was wrong for initially thinking that (although can you blame me given the amount of crap out there?).

Jared is actually a well respected guy in the internet space and has been behind numerous profitable ventures.

I watched his YouTube channel where he shared his story of how he went from broke to success and the failures along the way and this got me very interested in eCom Hacks and eCom Hacks Academy.

What Is eCom Hacks Academy About?

As the name suggests it’s about “eCom”. Which is essentially e-commerce. It’s selling products online.

Over the past few years e-commerce has grown and continues to grow.

People are literally making millions and Jared is one of those people who has been crushing it with eCom Hacks.

His video / case study talks about how Amazon FBA is dying.

I don’t know whether that’s true or not, after all I have not personally done Amazon FBA and I am sure people are making money however one thing I will point out is there seems to be a trend of people on YouTube selling courses on FBA who actually make more selling the courses than doing FBA.

I can’t really comment on whether that’s right or wrong, but ultimately I don’t know that much about Amazon FBA.

Okay getting back to eCom Hacks, it talks about e-commerce which is basically selling products online yourself via your own website that you build.

And then you can sell using a number of different traffic sources from YouTube to Facebook Ads.

I know from watching the eCom Hacks case study that Jared has utilised Facebook Ads to drive targeted traffic to his eCom stores.

How Does eCom Hacks Academy Work?

Jared talks about eCom Hacks Academy and how he is actually doing something a little different because he is doing dropsurfing, rather than dropshipping which is the popular method that most people seem to do or teach about.

As you can see there’s differences between dropshipping and dropsurfing as he calls it.

With the “surfing” method you are jumping on the viral trends.

These are products that are hot and people are wanting to buy right now. In other words they are IN DEMAND products.

I know from watching Jared’s videos that he was big into hover boards when they got huge a few years ago and he created a huge brand around those and nearly had one of the biggest businessmen in the world buy him out.

The benefits as we can see are the ability to travel the world, work from anywhere and not worry about inventory.

Launch on Shopify and be able to control the traffic, and make 30-40% margins instead of the 5-10% you make with the original model that most people are using and teaching and this is how he does it with eCom Hacks.

Jared shows how you actually set up these websites. It’s a relatively simple process that he uses to do it.

Is eCom Hacks Academy A Scam?

After taking a closer look I am confident that Jared Goetz and his eCom Hacks Academy is definitely NOT a scam.

I’ve been around long enough and reviewed enough systems to spot scams, in fact I’ve exposed over 500 of them on this blog in the past couple of years. The product eCom Hacks Academy is definitely not a scam and is something worth looking at.

Are there any negatives to eCom Hacks?

The only negatives I can really think for eCom Hacks are that you will need to stay on top of the trends.

This means that you can never really settle and you probably can’t exit the business by selling it.

After all nobody is going to want to buy your brand if it’s simple based on a trend. That being said it’s a small negative.

One other negative I can think of with eCom Hacks is why is Jared suddenly teaching these methods?

Surely he has made enough money already and continues to make money using his eCom Hacks methods.

Instead he is going down the trend of teaching and I suspect it’s because he can make more money by creating a personal brand and selling his products online teaching e-commerce via eCom Hacks Academy.

This is really not a huge negative, I’m just looking for negatives to make an un-biased review here, but my honest opinion is that Jared seems like a good guy, he’s a likely guy too and his eCom Hacks product looks good.

He actually gives away more value for free in the case study/webinar then most people do in their paid products.

eCom Hacks Academy Verdict

After taking a closer look I’m confident that eCom Hacks Academy is a good product and Jared Goetz is someone work following.

He clearly knows what he is doing and has a strong track record of making money with e-commerce.

If you are looking at getting into the e-commerce space then eCom Hacks could definitely be for you.

That being said, if e-com is not for you, then perhaps you should take a look at my “no.1 recommendation” below that I rated no.1 out of over 500+ systems I have personally reviewed on this blog.
