What Is The Insider Profit Trader?

The Insider Profit Trader is an advisory service offered by Jeff Yastine and Brian Christopher.

They started it to enable investors to benefit from insider trading legally.

Insider trading by definition is illegal.

However, Jeff and Brian have developed a system that allows them to generate profits by observing the investment habits of people who are directly involved with the companies (particularly when they buy shares of the same companies).

By insiders here, we are referring to employees or people who are involved with the running of a company.

The central tenet of Insider Profit Trader is the three-tiered strategy.

With this strategy, you are assured of receiving a triple-digit gain every 90 days.

“Insider trading” works with public companies because when insiders buy or sell shares, they are required to file certain documents.

There are two reasons why not everyone is capable of spotting these opportunities:

These documents are hard to read – they are filled with jargon. The average person would have trouble making sense of them.
There are a lot of documents to sort through to find the ones that could point to something significant.

The Three-Tiered System and how it Works

The system Jeff uses relies on two documents; Form 4 and Schedule 13D.

Form 4 is filed when a C-level executive, board member, or a shareholder with a 10% stake or higher buy shares.

Schedule 13D is filed when an entity (individual or institution) buys more than 5% of a company’s shares.

Whenever a big purchase by an insider happens, the three-tiered system can tell that there are significant movements in the insider ownership. But it doesn’t end there…

Now, insiders buying company shares happens all the time. If the system went by those metrics alone, it wouldn’t be effective. Which brings us to what each of the three tiers does:

Tier one: The system vets the purchases to determine whether anything out of the ordinary is happening. The following scenarios are good indicators of abnormal behavior: a) An insider buying shares with their own money (no bonuses) b) More than one insider buying at a time c) The purchases are big in relative terms.

Tier two: The system checks the company’s financial health (cash flow).

Tier three: The system checks whether the stock will be profitable quickly. It favors stock that will bring returns quickly.

When an insider (or many) buys many shares of their company’s stock with their own money, it means that they believe that the stock is undervalued. They are also in a good position to know that something is brewing that could dramatically increase the value of those shares.

Insider Profit Trader is all about identifying those unique scenarios and alerting its subscribers to get in on the stock.

Is Insider Profit Trader A Scam?

Insider Profit Trader is not a scam.

First, the two guys running the service have been in the finance business for a long time.

Therefore, they know what they are talking about when they say that they have found a way to make money by observing insider moves.

Second, although we cannot read so much into it, they back-tested the three-tiered system and it passed with flying colors.

Pros

Simplicity: They only deal with short-term plays (stocks) – no short selling, no options trading, and no speculating.
The service is beginner-friendly. The manual makes for good orientation material for people who are still learning the ropes.
I like how thoroughly Jeff and Brian stress tests their stock picks before they recommend them.

Cons

Following the actions of insiders does not always mean that things are guaranteed to go as planned. Sometimes they fail.

Insider Profit Trader Verdict

The Insider Profit Trader is a good fit for people who want to invest in a stock that promises to make money quickly.

The whole system is based on the actions of company insiders.

It doesn’t always work but when it does, it is capable of raking in triple-digit gains.

With all the speculative buys people make these days, it is nice to see a system that takes a different approach to investing.
