Introduction to List Leverage

Is "List Leverage" Another Scam or Legit? [Review] 8

List Leverage is an automated marketing system that enables you to build an email list to promote your online business. It is a marketing plan that enables you to build a large client base.

I have reviewed other systems like Copy My Email System and Profit Point Autonomy that promise to help you grow your online business and generate easy money.

As we’ve seen many times with other programs, a majority of them end up disappointing and cheating innocent people, which leads us to the all-important question: Is List Leverage any different?

How does List Leverage Work?

As the name suggests, List Leverage is a program that specializes in email marketing. It is meant to help you leverage the power of a good email list to bring in more clients to your online business or blog.

If you are familiar with digital marketing, you can appreciate that email marketing is one of the most effective ways for online businesses to create lasting relationships with their clients.

It doesn’t come as a surprise that building a good email list is tough. So, it’s interesting to see how list leverage can achieve this effortlessly.

What List Leverage does is that they run a Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) scheme. If you are not familiar with MLMs, they use network or referral marketing to sell products or services (an MLM looks eerily similar to a pyramid scheme but it is technically different).

When you sign up for List Leverage, they ask you to provide your email address. When you give it to them, they add you to six random email lists from the other people who’ve also given up their email addresses.

Once you are in the system, you now have to promote List Leverage to other people. They give you an affiliate link to share on your social media handles.

When you bring in a new referral via your link, the person you bring in will be added to your email list and five other email lists.

When your direct referral (let’s call them referral 1) promotes List Leverage and gets a referral of their own (referral 2), referral 2 will be added to referral 1’s email list, to your email list, and four other email lists.

That’s how List Leverage helps you grow your email list.

Is List Leverage free?

Well, it isn’t.

Throughout the presentation, they lead you to believe that it is free. The title even says “Build a Free Viral Email List on Autopilot.”

However, when you sign up, you will realize that you have to pay for the service. There are two plans:

  • $47 per month
  • $497 for a lifetime membership

If you can’t pony up those amounts, you are better off doing it on your own; building your email list the genuine, harder way.

Is List Leverage Legit?

List Leverage is legit; however, I will not recommend that you join it.

I haven’t labeled it a scam because, in all honesty, they give you what you sing up for: an email list building system. But as we’ve found out, it isn’t a very good list.

It gets worse when you find out that you have to pay for the mediocre service. Therefore, it is not a good use of your money.

Pros of List Leverage

  • They build you an email list (although it’s not a good one).

Cons of List Leverage

  • When you share your email address, the lists to which your email has been added can spam you with whatever promotional messages they want – it’s not technically spamming from the sender’s perspective because they probably think that you want to be on their list.
  • Tying in with the first point, the email addresses you have on your list are not quality emails. Their owners are not usually aware that they’ve been added to your list and may unsubscribe when you start sending them emails.
  • You still have to pay for the subscription, though they keep insisting that it is Free.

List Leverage Verdict

Unfortunately, as great as it sounds on paper, List Leverage is not great.

As if paying for it isn’t enough, you must be good at marketing it to gain some referrals and hope that they are also good at marketing to build your list.

And, if everything falls into place, the people joining your email list are not doing it because they want to.

Then you have to deal with the fallout if they decide to unsubscribe from your email list or worse, report your email as spam thus ruining the little progress you’ll have made.

I think there are better ways to market yourself, build email lists, and earn money online than join List Leverage.
