Introduction to Money Line System

The Money Line System is an ingenious technique that Tim Sykes uses to trade penny stocks. (The presentation is an ad for his new research service, Tim Sykes’ Weekly Fortunes.)

Money Line System by Tim Sykes

Speaking of investing in such opportunities, I’ve reviewed a lot of similar programs, including Straight Line Profits and Superpower Checks.

The money line system helps him maximize profits from explosive penny stock opportunities and minimize the risk involved in trading volatile stocks.

He goes against the conventional wisdom of investing in expensive stocks and waiting for small annual gains.

He claims to have turned $12,000 into $4.7 million; he runs a trading diary where he posts a record of his profits and losses.

Who is behind the Money Line System?

Timothy Sykes describes himself on his official website (timothysykes.com) as a penny stock trader, entrepreneur, philanthropist, trading teacher, and world traveler.

The Money Line System is not the only contribution he has made to the finance industry as I recently reviewed his Weekend Profits service and his 16 Second Retirement hack.

While in school, he was set on becoming a pro tennis player until he got a career-threatening injury. After getting injured, he started taking his other interest, investing, more seriously.

He started by investing with his bar mitzvah money and became quite successful at it. He landed a spot in Trade Monthly’s “Top 30 under 30” list in 2006. He even featured in a docu-series called Wall Street Warriors.

After a few years of trading, he decided to teach other people to be better investors. To this end, he created a couple of resources, including newsletters, instructional DVD packages, platforms, and events.

His biggest project is the Trading Challenge which helps traders learn best trading practices, good strategies, and key patterns.

How does the Money Line System Work?

The Money Line System is based on buying and selling patterns and significant news that would affect the stock price.

It follows a similar principle to his News Wire system.

The money line separates legitimate price moves from “noise.” It uses Oracle AI and a notification system to alert Tim when important news about a penny stock happens.

The trick is following the news stories that are legitimate and ignoring the ones that aren’t. Important news stories cause buyers to flood the market and prices to go up. Tim follows a three-step process:

  • Wait for the news to trigger a move
  • Buy the stock when it crosses the line. That’s the indication that price is about to rise high after that.
  • Close position soon after at a profit.

Is Money Line System Legit?

The Money Line System is legit.

Nothing proves this more than the story of a guy called Michael Goode who turned from Tim’s critic to fan.

He started by writing a scathing article on Tim’s strategy but after being invited to try out the Money Line System, he came out of it more than $2 million richer.

Pros of Money Line System

  • It minimizes speculative moves because you get in after the news when there is solid proof that the stock is braced for upward movement.
  • Penny stocks are cheap and within the reach of ordinary investors.
  • These stocks do not get widespread coverage from mainstream media outlets and analysts. Therefore, it takes time for important news to factor into share price allowing you more time to buy the stock.
  • Since penny stocks are volatile, they are ideal for making short term gains.
  • Since you trade stocks, you can trade using your usual brokerage account.

Cons of Money Line System

  • Stocks, not to mention penny stocks, do not always follow a predetermined path. Therefore, some of his recommendations will lead to losses.
  • Tim Sykes’ Weekly Fortunes is expensive.
  • There is no refund policy

Money Line System Verdict

Tim Sykes created the Money Line System to enable investors to trade penny stocks sustainably.

That being said, I have my doubts about him extracting thousands of dollars from his trades every week. It’s most likely meant to sway readers to subscribe to his service, but it is probably not true – penny-stocks are infamously volatile and tough to predict.

Nevertheless, I would recommend that you subscribe to his service because you will be better off listening to someone else’s perspective even as you live by your strategy; especially when that person has been investing in penny stocks for years (I hope he has).

Word of caution: Do not base your entire strategy on his money line system because your situation is unique and his advice is generalized.
