Introduction To OPM Wealth

OPM Wealth is a new online money-making program that is meant to help you generate money by leveraging Other People’s Money (OPM) and creating an autonomous and scalable business.

Here is the current website promoting the opportunity:

The concept is based on a model conceptualized by Robert Kiyosaki, the author of the bestselling book, Rich Dad Poor Dad although I should state that this opportunity has nothing to do with Robert Kiyosaki.

Whilst on the topic of Robert I recently shared my review of The Lazy Way To Invest In Real Estate his new book.

According to Mr. Kiyosaki, there are two ways to become wealthy:

Use your own money: This method is slower and you only need just above-average financial intelligence.
Use other people’s money: This method is quicker but you need exceptional financial intelligence.

The money works for you rather than you working for it.

It also teaches people cryptocurrency basics and how to trade them.

It also makes a big deal about paying people purely in cryptocurrencies but we will get into that in a bit.

The OPM Wealth program is coupled with the Plutus plan.

What is the Plutus Plan?

If OPM Wealth is the front-end of the program that grants people access to the system that enables them to start their ventures, the Plutus plan is the part of the program that involves running marketing campaigns and all other aspects of the platform.

Who is behind OPM Wealth?

Stefan Dessalines is the face of this program.

I cannot prove that he is the one who launched it but we can assume he had a part to play.

As far as backstories go, Stephan was in the film industry where he started as a child actor before transitioning into production.

He abandoned it because he wanted to make more money. So he entered the mortgage industry and started working for banks.

He then quit and started his own company with a partner and within a couple of years, they had over 80 million in business.

The 2008 Financial Crisis wiped out everything and he had to start from scratch.

He went into digital marketing, and he has been doing it ever since.

How does OPM Wealth Work?

To join the OPM Wealth program, you create a free account with your email address.

Then you log into the member’s area where you’ll have access to 17 video tutorials.

To watch the fourth one onwards, you must call an expert consultant.

OPM Wealth is a training platform and one of the lessons they teach is how you can leverage your credit score to receive funding.

They claim that no matter what your credit score is, you can improve it.

When your credit score reaches the required level, you will qualify to receive funding from different sources and own online business.

This sounds great, but the most important part is the Plutus Plan.

How The Plutus Plan Works with OPM Wealth

The Plutus Plan is an affiliate marketing program.

All payments on the platform are made using cryptocurrencies.

If you are not conversant with cryptos, there are video tutorials that teach you how they work.

To participate in the program, you have to choose a package and you have to pay for each one.

The packages are (They are named after Greek gods):

Hermes
Apollo
Athena
Poseidon
Zeus

You can also participate without paying the fees by using the OPM wealth system to get other users who want to learn about cryptocurrencies to pay as you earn a commission in crypto.

In addition to training material, you will also receive a physical gift based on your plan. It will be one of a backpack, wireless charger, wireless headphone, Kindle Fire, or laptop.

How to Make Money With OPM Wealth

To receive compensation, you must either be a customer who has purchased a product package (the Greek gods’ packages) or be a free affiliate.

If you join as a free affiliate, you need to generate at least five product sales first to qualify for commissions – you will receive commissions from thereon.

If you join by buying a package, you must make a qualifying sale to qualify for commissions.

Payouts are normally sent out to customers every day at their request. You will be paid in cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin). The coin you will be paid in will be the one used to make the purchase.

The OPM Wealth system will allow you to acquire additional funding if you decide to buy all five Plutus packages at a go.

Subscription Fee

Although creating an account is free, you must buy a product to start earning commissions. The five products are priced thus:

Hermes ($2000)
Apollo ($5000)
Athena ($8500)
Poseidon ($14500)
Zeus ($27500)

You can get in for free if you sell the product to other affiliates.

Is OPM Wealth a Scam?

OPM Wealth sounds good on paper, but it doesn’t look practical to me.

I don’t think it is a scam, but I would NEVER recommend it.

Although they offer training, there is nothing special about it to justify the lofty price tags.

You can certainly find better training programs online for free and if it’s investments you are interested in learn from real experts like Paul Mampilly and Andrew Keene.

Here are other red flags that have influenced my verdict:

Stefan Dessalines has been involved with other affiliate programs like Freebie Money Printer, an MLM scheme that eventually fell through.
Although Stefan launches a scathing attack on MLM’s, the compensation structure of OPM looks like one.
Products are not sold to “outsiders.” Everything goes on within the affiliate hierarchy. The more people you bring in, the more money you will make.
There are hidden charges within the system. For example, although they promise that the profits from the sales funnel will be sent to you directly without extra charges, they require you to purchase traffic/advertising from the admin to use the sales funnel. The reason is to “ensure that (you) are not using any shady or black hat marketing strategies that could jeopardize the entire program.”

OPM Wealth Verdict

In my opinion OPM Wealth is a pyramid scheme that is riding on the allure of cryptocurrencies to deceive people into joining the program for subpar training.

Scam artists know that since 2017, words like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin are the buzzwords that get people excited enough to pay for whichever service is thrown their way to get involved.

I have seen it with other cryptocurrency MLMs like Bitcoin Frontiers, BitConnect, USI Tech, and many others that preyed on people’s fear of missing out and made away with their money when they, inevitably, shut down.

I stopped short of calling it a scam because some lucky people will make money when they join OPM Wealth. The rest, especially newbies, will be left empty-handed and if cryptocurrency drops in value again could be left in a lot of trouble.
