Introduction to The Cash Apocalypse
The Cash Apocalypse by Harry Dent is an ad for his Boom & Bust newsletter.
This is not the first time we have encountered Harry Dent as I have recently reviewed The Dark Window, a presentation where he forecasts a looming recession.
The Cash Apocalypse presentation concerns the threat of cyber warfare and how that affects our lives and finances. Here are the key takeaways:
- State-sponsored hackers from countries like Iran, China, and Russia have been attacking financial institutions, exchanges, public institutions, and individuals.
- Although their motives are unknown, their attacks place the security of people’s personal and financial information at risk.
- The frequency of these attacks has increased as the world moves more and more into the internet realm.
- Cyberterrorism is now considered one of the biggest security threats to modern civilization. Some people even believe that these attacks could be the catalyst for the next financial crisis.
- The government is ill-prepared for cyber warfare – and is probably not treating it as urgently as it should.
He has teamed up with a former FBI special agent, Scott Augenbaum, with 29 years’ experience dealing with cybercriminals to create the bullet-proof plan. With it, you can protect yourself from cyber threats before you become the next casualty.

Who is behind The Cash Apocalypse?
Harry Dent is a Harvard MBA who has been in the financial industry for the past 30 years. He is the founder of Dent Research, a publisher of newsletters and investment research; it is also a subsidiary of Agora Financial.
He started his career at Bain & Co. where he did consultancy work with clients ranging from startups to big firms. He then went on to enjoy a speaking career from 1995 to the early 2000s. People took to calling him the “cycles guy” for his penchant to dish out market forecasts and predictions.
He has written several books, including The Roaring 2000s, The Next Great Bubble Boom, The Great Depression Ahead, and most recently The Sale of a Lifetime: How The Great Bubble Burst of 2017 Can Make You Rich.

How does The Cash Apocalypse Work?
Before we get to how you can access Harry’s plan, I should mention that I have shared reviews of other Apocalyptic warnings including The Final Currency Crisis and Wealth Supercycle.
Harry Dent has teamed up with Scott to create a survival manual called Cyberterrorism Survival Manual.
This guide has details on how you should protect your personal and financial information from cyber terrorists. It also has a survival guide for when the grid goes offline and useful tips on how to deal with phishing schemes that target retirees.
The second part of Harry’s plan is all about making money when everyone else is panicking. He says that you can only do that by utilizing certain assets and investing strategies that work even when the digital world gets hit by malicious attacks.
Everything you need to know regarding the second step in Harry’s plan is in his report, How to Grow Your Wealth by as Much as 2,000% During Times of Chaos.
Inside it, you will read about the three strategies you should follow to thrive during a crash – just like other people have in previous periods of economic hardship.

Is The Cash Apocalypse Legit?
The Cash Apocalypse is legit. Many people will be put off by the radical stance that Harry has taken, but that doesn’t mean that he is a fraud.
Bear in mind that he has been around for the past three decades, during which time he has made a name for himself predicting the direction of the markets.
He has been spot on with some of his predictions. For example, he predicted the economic collapse of Japan, the 2000 Dot Com Bust and the Housing Bust of 2007.
Nevertheless, he has also racked up a couple of misses along the way.

The Cash Apocalypse Verdict
Although Harry Dent holds some extreme views regarding the direction the market is going to take while predicting the destruction of our way of life, I think it is worth listening to him.
Dent has always been extreme with his predictions. He either blows too hot, as he did with his “DJIA hitting 35,000” prediction, or too cold, as he has been for the past five years, talking about a great recession – he started talking about the collapse of the market in 2017 when he wrote his book The Sale of a Lifetime: How The Great Bubble Burst of 2017 Can Make You Rich.
As we’ve seen in the Cash Apocalypse, although his position is extreme, his arguments are not inaccurate. Therefore, rather than dismiss him and miss out on the valid points he is raising, it is better to hear him out and become a better-informed person and investor.
