Introduction to The S-Force Method
“The S-Force Method” is a presentation by Jeff Clark advertising his new investment research service, Breakout Alert.
I first stumbled across Jeff when I shared my review of his Quantum Moment presentation.
Jeff, who’s known for trading options, now trades stocks. He claims to have found a way to generate option-like gains while trading stocks.
Using the S-Force Method, Jeff claims to have found a way to generate gains of 100% to 500% trading stocks.
It’s quite simple: he targets small-cap stocks that he can buy on the cheap, hold them as they rise by a proportionately large margin (but typically waiting for a couple of hours, days, or weeks), and sell them for a profit.
Since they are cheap, you can acquire a large number of shares with a modest investment.
Furthermore, due to their small size, institutional investors are discouraged from trading them. This enables them to fly under the radar; thus, you can get good deals on them.
Here are a few other takeaways from the presentation:
- He clarifies that he doesn’t target penny stocks because trading them is essentially gambling.
- His recommendations are not restricted to one sector or industry. His system merely examines the underlying numbers.
- They also belong to some of the most explosive and fastest moving companies in their respective markets. They trade for as little as 30 cents a share – going up to $5.
- These stocks are too small to have options derived from them.

Who is behind The S-Force Method?
Jeff Clark is an options expert. He preferred trading them to stocks as he thought that they were more lucrative (before he stumbled upon his new trading strategy).
His interest in trading began while he was still in his late teens. He formed his own trading company while he was in his early twenties. He traded options for his clients, which was alien when he started doing it.
He grew his firm and began managing money for Venture capitalists, pension plans, and other major players.
He retired from Wall Street at 42 and began sharing his investment ideas with average investors online.
He claims to have delivered 150 winning trades since he started writing newsletters for Legacy Research in 2017. Legacy Research is behind the Freedom 2020 presentation.

How does The S-Force Method Work?
The “S” in S-Force stands for spring – which explains why Jeff had a spring in his pocket during the presentation.
The spring force method has two steps to it; first, the spring is compressed gaining energy before a catalyst comes in and lets the spring loose (and frees up its energy).
When we apply this analogy to trading as per Jeff’s method, the stock is subjected to the downward pressure (recoil) before a catalyst comes along and releases the tension forcing the stock to break out.
He says that when a small company starts to recoil, it should signal that a big move is about to happen since tiny stocks are inherently volatile.
The catalyst is an influx of cash. When money starts to flood in, it ignites exponential growth.
To know when money is about to flood into stock and ignite upward growth, Jeff draws a blue line across the stock on the stock chart (the blue line tracks the flow of money into and out of the stock).
When the stock crosses this line, it indicates that it is about to move up. If you invest right as it is crossing the blue line, you can watch your investment multiply.
The S-Force Method works in a bear market because during such periods, volatility increases… and volatility forges coiling patterns – he even claims that 2008 (the year of the financial crisis) was one of his most productive years.
Further Analysis
When a stock passes the blue line test, Jeff subjects it to the Breakout Checklist where he subjects it to additional indicators to ensure that it is fit to trade.

The S-Force Method Verdict
Jeff Clark has made a career trading options. Therefore, it came as a surprise when I read that he was now into stocks. On closer inspection, I learned that he doesn’t just buy and hold as many other investors do – he buys stocks and sells them within a short period, pocketing massive returns.
With the S-Force Method, he has found a way of unearthing stocks that have the same profit potential as options without the challenges that come with trading options – his method brings him the best of both worlds.
