What Is The 2 Minute Retirement Rescue?

James Altucher’s Instant Income Masterclass presentation targets retirees and people who would like to tap into an alternative source of regular, reliable income.

It is also an ad for his new advisory service, Altucher’s Secret Income. 

I have reviewed a lot of similar programs like Electro Wave Inversion and Trump Bonus Checks.

In the video, James touts his new revolutionary financial technique that should bring in $3,000 every month. 

What Is The 2 Minute Retirement Rescue?

All you need is an internet connection, a device with internet access, an online brokerage account, and two minutes to spare every week to implement his weekly alerts – which explains the “2-minute retirement rescue” label. 

The arrangement allows you to make money off of some of America’s biggest companies without having to invest in bonds, stocks, options, or funds. 

James admits that the strategy is not unique and that some firms and individual investors on Wall Street have used it (or some variation of it) to make money. He mentions how Warren buffet has used his version of the technique to make $4.9 billion and how Virtu Financial (a high-frequency trading firm) has made millions without losing a trade. 

The secret income-generating technique is selling put options to other investors. It is uncommon because the majority of the people and firms who trade options buy them. And James says that buyers lose their money 75% of the time to sellers because trading options is a zero-sum game. 

The only “downside” to selling options is having to pick the underlying securities when you “lose” the trade. But it is not necessarily a loss because you end up owning shares belonging to a decent company at a discount price.

Who Is James Altucher?

James Altucher is a legendary entrepreneur, hedge fund manager, and venture capitalist.

He has written 18 books and contributes to the Huffington Post and the Financial Times.

He also runs a popular podcast, The James Altucher Show, which listeners have downloaded over 20 million times. 

Speaking of entrepreneurship, James has been involved with over 20 businesses – two of which he sold for a combined $25 million.

Is 2 Minute Retirement Rescue Legit?

James Altucher’s Instant Income Masterclass is not a scam.

James invited an auditor to review his track record and they confirmed that his followers were making money off of his recommendations.

Some of his claims and promises are over the top, but you should expect that sort of language with these services.

That doesn’t rule out the fact that when you implement his suggestions, you may actually earn money.
