Introduction to Alan Knuckman’s Big Option Trader

Alan Knuckman launched Big Option Trader through a pitch that he used to explain how he spots his trades. He starts by talking about how regular people are getting rich trading options. For example, he mentions one trader who made over $18,000 in 15 minutes and a host of others.

He does this to demonstrate just how great he thinks options trading is if done right. And to be fair to him, you can genuinely make money trading them with a sound strategy.

Before we get to how he trades, note that Alan is a big fan of trading options. In fact, he has launched other services that also focus on options trading, including Weekly Wealth Alert and Daily Double Club.

He fancies derivatives over trading stocks directly because they are cheaper — thus you risk less money — and there is the potential of earning bigger profits even when the stock price goes up. He says that investors can earn 10 times or more returns on the gains they would have gotten on stocks when they go with options.

Circling back to why he chose to launch a new service, what’s different about Big Option Trader?

In his presentation, he gives us the impression that there is a “tiny corner” of the market that amateurs are exploiting to make money with options and he knows how to spot it.

He tells us that the secret to his strategy is great timing and he has the perfect tool for that that he calls Options Profits Multiplier Scanner (OPX). He says that it is a patented tool that he paid $1.3 million for. We will get to how it works in a bit.

How Does Alan Knuckman’s Big Option Trader Work?

The way Alan explains it, the Options Profits Multiplier Scanner (OPX) is a market timing tool. He says that it scans the entire market in milliseconds for the biggest options moves. It looks for three elements:

  • Massive upside: It focuses on trades that have a high profit ceiling.
  • Limited risk: It finds relatively low-risk trades.
  • Urgent catalyst: It gravitates towards stocks that have some impactful event that may affect price in the short term. This includes big announcements, earnings reports, managerial changes, and the likes.

He says that by timing his moves, he can pick option plays that may explode by 1,000% or more in just a matter of weeks.

Cons of Alan Knuckman’s Big Option Trader

Is Alan Knuckman’s Big Option Trader Legit?

Alan Knuckman’s Big Option Trader is a legit service. Now, this may be a bit tough to take in for some people but what Alan does is legitimate: he looks for option plays and sends them out to his subscribers.

Although the service is legit, that doesn’t mean that success is guaranteed, there is a big distinction there. You can still lose money if you follow his advice no matter how good his past picks have been.

Alan Knuckman’s Big Option Trader Verdict

The Big Option Trader investment strategy relies on market timing, which has its shortcomings but can work if you do it well enough and have luck on your side. The newsletter costs $49 and it has a 6-month “grace period” for you to try out and if it doesn’t suit you, you can cancel for a full refund.

It is important to remember that any recommendation Alan gives is general advice, not personalized advice. You have to go an extra step and decide whether what he offers is working for your financial situation before you follow his advice.
