Ameriplan Review - Good Business or Scam? 5

Ameriplan Review

Ameriplan has been started by Dennis and Daniel Bloom. It is basically a discount health plan for physicians and consumers. It also is being promoted as a business opportunity. However, according to me and many other who have reviewed this business, it is filled with many lawsuits, infighting, problems, and innumerable public complaints. Hence, if there is anyone who wishes to join this business plan, I would suggest that you go through the review of this plan and then make a decision based on facts and figures. As some of them are a little worrying to say the least.

By the way, we have reviewed many opportunities in the past few months check out recent reviews of entrepreneur jobs club and Keala Kanae.

Ameriplan Broker

I have come across many problems which often when once decide to become a broker for Ameriplan. The term broker is being used because this is more of a multilevel marketing venture than a typical sales job and therefore I view it with suspicion and am jittery about it. As a broker you will not be selling any Ameriplan’s products to people. It is about bringing in new people who in turn will bring more numbers into the group and this process will continue. They do it discreetly and perhaps one needs to understand the same before moving forward. One simple way is to get in touch with friends and family and I am certain this will not work out very well because it could impact relationships over a period of time. The other way is to look for prospects and leads and buy expensive leads which Ameriplan itself sells. They will brainwash you into believing that this could be helpful in enabling you to make big money.

Is Ameriplan A Pyramid?

You will soon become a person having the herd mentality and sooner you will have many complaints which are almost like a cult. You will be promised support but nothing much will come your way and you will soon realize that you are placed in a hierarchical pecking order where new salespeople are treated very shabbily to say the least. I have seen many of them are not even allowed into the corporate headquarters. The rules and regulations of Ameriplan on the ground is totally contrary to what you might have been promised as you are in the processing of becoming a member. You will realize that you are into a family like set up rather than being in a business.

There is no denying the fact that you are as much a broker as you are a customer because you will have to end up paying the monthly broker fee. Only then will you be able to buy leads and also take part in other recurring costs. However, this is not exactly wrong given the fact that any business has to undertake these recurring expenses on a continuous basis. I believe that this is a pyramid because those who are on the top are the ones who extremely well and the pressure is on the lower team members to keep the money flow continuing. In the absence of products to sell, recruiting new members and making them spend money is the only way by which funds can keep flowing. This is something which I do not believe that any legal MLM company should indulge in.

Complaints Galore

I also have come across complaints from the underlings about their not getting bonuses on time and also about not getting other dues and residuals. The higher ups usually come up with some interpretation of the law and are in a position to either fire these complainants or withhold their legitimate dues. It would be pertinent to mention here that BBB has recorded quite a number of complaints from consumer about Ameriplan and their products and services. I have seen members from other forums also bitterly complaining about this business.

Conclusion & Recommendation

After taking a closer look at Ameriplan it’s clear this is not a company we would recommend. There’s a couple of reasons why we have come to this conclusion. First off the company has a lot of negative press and complaints which is obviously a warning sign but the main reason I would not recommend it is because I prefer digital opportunities for making money as you can use software and systems to automate a lot of the heavy lifting.
