Forsage Review Review
Introduction to Forsage Review
If you visit Forsage.io, Forsage is described as an international crowdfunding platform built on a smart contract that is embedded in the Ethereum blockchain.
It distributes affiliate commissions to members of the network if they meet the conditions set by the smart contract.
They further describe it as a platform that operates without a manager because it leverages the decentralization property of blockchain. Therefore, instead of admins, the program has peers.
Realistically speaking, I think it is a Network Marketing/Multi-Level Marketing program because the main way through which you can make money is to bring in new affiliates. You get paid for each referral as per the compensation plan.
Forsage is NOT a cryptocurrency exchange.

How does Forsage Work?
They say that all you need to get started is a device with access to the internet. That could be a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
Then, you need to have an Ethereum Wallet, of which they recommend Trust Wallet or Token Pocket Wallet (for Chinese users). You also need to install the Metamask browser extension.
The membership fee is 0.05 Ethereum, which is approximately equal to $10 (note that this depends on the eth/dollar exchange rate when you join).
For communication purposes, you have to join the Forsage Telegram group.
How do you make money on Forsage?
There are two kinds of matrices through which you get paid, X3 matrix and X4 matrix.
The X3 matrix is a 3 x 1 matrix that has three direct referrals under you (level 1).
The X4 matrix is arranged as a 2 x 2 matrix that has two direct referrals under you and two other referrals under the first level.
When you pay 0.05 eth during registration, you instantly join both matrices and your investment is split into two: 0.025 eth goes to matrix X3 and the remaining 0.025 eth goes to matrix X4.

Is Forsage Legit?
Truthfully speaking, I don’t think Forsage is legit.
After doing my research, I found that it does not sell products (digital or physical) or services. Affiliates live off of the multi-level compensation plan, which is the definition of a pyramid scheme according to the FTC.
Now, if you read various forums, some people say that it is a genuine program because they have made money from joining it.
However, the issue with MLM schemes is that they pay if you get in early enough. Initially, when the program generates excitement and gets new affiliates, the pioneers are paid for bringing in new referrals (in this case, through the X3 and X4 matrices).
As interest dwindles and the program becomes old news, the owners shut it down and make away with the residual money. Usually, this money belongs to the latecomers (you don’t want to be among the last people to join).
On top of that, I don’t like the opacity of the ownership of the program. Supporters cite the fact that it uses irrevocable smart contracts based on the Ethereum blockchain where every node on the network is equal (hence no need for admins).
If you dig deeper, though, you’ll encounter a guy called Lado Okhotnikov who claims to be one of the creators of Forsage. He appears to be an actor reading off a script in his interviews and he doesn’t address the important elements of how the program works.
I don’t understand why the people behind it refuse to be transparent about their identities if they want us to pay them money for the program; that is a red flag.

Forsage Review Verdict
I do not recommend that you join Forsage because I have serious questions about it that I feel are not adequately addressed.
As we have seen with network marketing programs that purely sell memberships, the structure becomes unsustainable when it fails to attract new members. From what I gathered, Forsage offers no products and will likely get shut.
