How to make money on Opinion Outpost

There are more than one ways to make money on Opinion Outpost. They include:

Taking surveys

Before starting a survey, you’ll be able to see how much it pays and the approximate length of time it’ll take to complete.

Each survey you take gives you a certain number of “Opinion Points”. You then redeem these points for cash rewards or eCards. Each point is worth $0.10.

Opinion Outpost

On average, you’ll get around 5 to 10 points for completing an entire survey, which amounts to around $0.50 to $5. Most surveys take around 15 minutes to complete.

This means that your average pay would range from $6 to $12 per hour and that’s only if you are able to find surveys that you qualify for.

Every time you’re disqualified, Opinion Outpost submits an entry for you into a $10,000 quarterly prize drawing. From there, you start all over again with a few multiple-choice questions, followed by a survey.

There should be no inconsistency between your profile survey responses and the responses on the other surveys as your account might get suspended.

In addition to simple questionnaires, you can also earn points for participating in paid focus groups and testing products at home though they are less common than the online surveys.

Earning badges

On your opinion outpost account, you’ll see a menu option for “Badges”. These are tiers that represent your achievements including the number of surveys you complete and how frequently you attempt them. Adding more details to your personal profile also counts,

There are five levels, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond.

Opinion Outpost badges

To advance from Bronze to Silver, you have to complete at least 25% of your profile, take and complete your first survey, and earn your first survey credit.

Once you complete all the milestones on one level, you’ll automatically advance to the next. The achievements expire every 365 days thus you are required to maintain regular activity.

Unlocking the top status, Diamond, requires completing 100% of your profile and taking 50 surveys, at least one in four consecutive weeks.

As your levels increase, you are rewarded with additional achievement points. You can find them on your survey history page. This is known as community achievement.

The badge system is more of an incentive to motivate users to take more surveys and to stay engaged.

Quarterly chances to win $10,000

Every time you get disqualified, participate in a survey, or exchange your valuable points for an entry, you will have a chance to win $10,000 in a quarterly cash draw.

Surprisingly this has been made the focal point of their website, aside from taking the surveys.

How to earn more money on Opinion Outpost

First of all make sure to complete your profile as this can give you access to more surveys and increase potential earnings, according to the survey site.

You can do as many profile surveys as you can, though unpaid, they will only take a short period of time.

There have been a couple of reports about accounts getting frozen before users could cash out. Some of them advise cashing out as little as $10 in order to avoid having too much money being frozen if your account becomes suspended.

Furthermore, you can complete daily pop reward surveys as it enables you to earn around $0.40 for answering just a few questions.

Make sure to set up a separate email address account in order to cater for the many survey offers that you will receive. This will prevent your inbox from clogging up.

Opinion outpost reviews

Cons of Opinion Outpost

No mobile app

There is no available mobile application for users to install on their phones. Going to the website may become tedious.

Limited number of survey options

There are rarely many surveys to choose from. Most times you might have to wait a onth or two before receiving a survey.

There is also the possibility of not qualifying for a survey thus reducing your options.

Long registration process

Your background information has to be verified, which can take up to a month or longer. Plus, you have to be accepted before you can start earning. It is not an instant process.

Unpaid profile surveys

You are required to do profile surveys in order for them to choose suitable surveys for you. Unfortunately, you are not paid to complete these surveys.

Low pay

Despite the time and effort you will put in, the pay is quite low despite being considered to be on the higher side compared to most survey sites.

There are better paying work-at-home jobs that meet and surpass minimum wage

Account termination

Opinion Outpost has been known to terminate accounts, causing you to lose any points you’ve acquired.

Often, this is the result of misunderstanding their terms that state that you cannot have more than one account. If you sign up for another account, your current one will get terminated or suspended.

Is Opinion Outpost legit?

Opinion Outpost is a legitimate survey site that has received stellar reviews on Trustpilot and Better business Bureau.

Furthermore, it has been around for a long time and it is run by Dynata, one of the most reputable and well-known data companies in the world.

According to Opinion Outpost’s site, they have over 2 million users worldwide and pay out the equivalent of $390,000 a month in rewards to their users.

The site does not sell information to third parties, as per their commitment to adhering to market research standards and is a safe and legit website.

Opinion outpost Conclusion

Personally, I would not recommend investing your time in Opinion outpost.

It is a decent way to earn money online during your free time but you should not quit your day job or anything as drastic just to join this site.

They offer a limited number of surveys and the possibility of being disqualified for some is high. Furthermore, those with no access to paypal accounts will not be able to receive cash rewards.

Their badge system offers no financial incentive and the unpaid questionnaires take some time to finish. It is not easy to change your responses once your situation changes.

In conclusion, Opinion Outpost may have a couple of pros like the girt cards, cash rewards, secure online platform and their reasonable point system but besides that it is not a viable way to make money as it requires a lot of time and effort while offering low reward.
