Introduction to The Complete Penny Stock Course

The Complete Penny Stock Course is an investment book by Timothy Sykes, which as the name suggests, teaches you to make money trading penny stocks. The definition of a penny stock is typically a stock that trades for less than $5.

The get-rich message it pushes doesn’t sound so different to Bryan Bottarelli’s Rags to Riches Masterclass that I covered recently.

Tim firmly believes that trading penny stocks is the quickest way for the average citizen to get rich. This is not new to Tim we saw in his Money Line System presentation.

To his credit, trading penny stocks (at least hypothetically) can enable “the little guy on the street” to climb the economic ladder. Out of the various reasons why this strategy may work, two stand out:

First, Penny stocks are within reach; they are affordable. For example, if you have a small amount of cash in your savings account, investing in cheap stocks makes sense because you can buy enough of them to make an impact on your balance when they go up.

You’d need more money to have a similar impact with bluechip stocks.

The affordability problem explains why many analysts entice people with options trading – they are cheap.

Second, penny stocks are scalable. They can easily jump 10% or more in a single trading day; something you wouldn’t associate with stable large caps.

Who is behind The Complete Penny Stock Course?

Timothy (Tim) Sykes is a Penny Stocks expert. He started investing at a young age, turning his $12,415 bar mitzvah money into a $1.65 million fortune by trading penny stocks (and skipping some classes in the process).

His exploits caught the attention of financial magazines as he was on Trader Monthly’s “Top 30 under 30” list in 2006. A few reality TV appearances later, he decided he wanted to do more than making himself rich – which he didn’t stop.

I think The Complete Penny Stock Course is legit because, at its core, it is all about showing people how to trade penny stocks with fewer losses and bigger returns.

There are testimonials of people becoming wealthy off of his ideas, and while these shouldn’t serve to elevate your expectations, they show that he is credible and that he has a track record.

Pros of The Complete Penny Stock Course

You do not need to have a prior working knowledge of investing to partake.
You don’t require a massive investment to get started. Penny stocks are inherently cheap.
Tim’s investment strategy is not time-consuming; leaving you with enough time to live your life to the fullest.

Cons of The Complete Penny Stock Course

The volatility is a double-edged sword; you can easily lose all your gains just as fast as you make them.
