Youngevity Review - Good Business or Scam? 5

Youngevity Review

Youngevity was founded by Steve Wallach and can be found at www.youngevity.com. This is a multi level marketing(MLM) platform that makes use of nutritional products as a means of avoiding been thought of as a pyramid scheme. I have investigated and analyzed various MLM’s, both the real ones and the scams exposing many along the way like entrepreneur jobs club and 500 cash club. I examine certain factors to conclude if it is a legit and profitable opportunity. One factor examined with depth is how a mark up is fixed on a company’s commodities. Most times, when the prices are high, it shows that the company is more interested in enrolment rather than the sales of its products and the prices of products on Youngevity are very high.

Youngevity Products

A product on Youngevity called Tangy Tangerine which is a 32 ounce drink said to be highly packed with vitamins and minerals. It cost $40 for a 30 day supply which would be $1.25 per serving. A search on Amazon produced a similar product called Optimum Nutrition Opti-Men Multivitamins (180-pack). These two products are close in terms of its nutrients. The Optimum Nutrition Opti-Men Multivitamins costs 10 cents for a pill and there are three pills available in a serving. So that’s 30 cents for a serving. That means you should be paying about $9-$10 instead of the $40 price tag placed on the Tangy Tangerine. And you should know that Optimum is a big company with high quality products, are the Youngevity products really better?

From the reviews of the Optimum Nutrition Opti-Men Multivitamins, it was seen that it was very effective and gained more positive ratings the Tangy Tangerine. Another concern about the Tangy Tangerine is that it reads “with 115 vegetables and fruits” at the top of the cover. You cannot find fruits and vegetables in 500mg of powder not to talk of 115. Anyone who has purchased this product should have it looked at by a doctor not affiliated with Youngevity and ask if you don’t need to eat fruits and vegetables because you are on a 115 supplement.I reckon the doctor would have a good laugh. The salespeople are required to purchase a minimum for the sponsors margins and overhead.

Youngevity declares that it has quality products but on the contrary, none of their products can be said to be working perfectly according to the renowned testing carried out by trusted specialists. Although, no real authentic assessment has been carried out on humans but they allege that it destroys cancer in test tubes. The reality is that bleach also destroys cancer in test tubes but you wouldn’t like to take that into your system either, would you?

From my observation, there seems to be a rampant theme of deception with a lot of new health supplement MLM organizations who pay more attention on marketing their products rather than producing quality products. Youngevity is not an exception. Their profits majorly comes from new distributor enrolments who are required to purchase the product after signing up. So the idea is that purchase their expensive and overpriced distributor packages and in the process, enrol others to do the same. This goes on and on in a cycle. When you look at the most legitimate MLM companies who have been around for many years you’ll find they often have products that are better priced than what you can buy in a regular store, take Avon for example which is one of the biggest network marketing companies in the world, their products are often much cheaper than what you would get in a regular shop however companies like Youngevity have products that are far more expensive than typical products.

Youngevity As A Consumer

If you are looking at the products then we would advise you don’t get too sucked into the claims. By all means buy the products, test them out and give your own verdict but be aware that they are more expensive than other competitor products.

Youngevity As A Business Opportunity

If you are looking into Youngevity as a business opportunity then we personally don’t recommend it since here at No Bs Im Reviews we prefer digital business opportunities. In our experience the ROI is much higher with digital opportunities which is why we won’t be recommending this.
