Introduction to Wonder Plants

The video starts with John talking about a pest called the spider mite that is causing problems for cannabis growers. He describes how destructive it is as well as how it can ruin the crop if left unattended.

Then he introduces a company that has been working on a way to eradicate the pests as well as revive plants that have been attacked. He brings on the founder, a man called Mike, to discuss at great length how his firm intends to help farmers protect their plants from the pests.

Wonder Plants

To understand the significance of Mike’s firm’s efforts, John reminds us that the cannabis industry is one of the fastest growing industries in the country. He says that it has grown from $5.4 billion in 2015 to $15 billion today and that it is on track to hit $100 billion in the upcoming years.

He tells us that if left unchecked, the pests can put over 240,000 American jobs at risk.

Mike’s company has developed a way to get rid of the pests and rewind the clock The plants that have been treated are can each produce offspring that can deliver harvest worth $1.1 million cumulatively — that’s where the $1.1 million figure originates from.

The company is small and privately held. But if it partners with other firms, it could easily become  one of the biggest players in cannabis.

Currently, the company is valued at just $53 million and John tells us that it can easily achieve unicorn status if it plays its cards right. Therefore, investing in it now while it is at the ground floor would be a good decision according to him.

Who Is Behind Wonder Plants?

Wonder Plants’ presentation is hosted by John Burke who is an investigative journalist. He is working for the National Institute of Cannabis Investors.

He is joined by Mike – the founder cum CEO of the company they are teasing. We don’t know much about Mike and that’s by design. You see, despite marketing the startup as a godsend, they don’t want to spill the beans on it because they will require you to sign up for some advisory service to find out more about it.

The National Institute of Cannabis Investors (NICI) is a news service that provides retail investors with information regarding cannabis investment opportunities that are usually reserved for wealthy investors. It may be affiliated with Money Map Press because Tom Gentile and Michael A. Robinson are on its advisory board.

Is Wonder Plants Legit?

Yes, I think Wonder Plants is a legit presentation.

The presentation was published by the National Institute of Cannabis Investors, which is a legit cannabis investment news service. Prominent people like John Boehner, the former speaker of the House and a member of the Acerage Holdings board, and Dr. Michael Dor, head of cannabis research for the Israeli health ministry are on its advisory board. Although this doesn’t mean that the investment opportunities mentioned are guaranteed winners, it means that the presentation is credible.

Wonder Plants Verdict

Wonder Plants is a presentation that was designed to pitch the Cannabis Venture Syndicate to new members. They dangled a company that appears to have a great future to the public to win more members.

The Cannabis Venture Syndicate is an advisory service that doles out investment advice that has to do with marijuana startups. By parading Mike’s startup the way they did in the presentation, their intention was to alert prospective subscribers that it was an example of what they share with subscribers regularly; promising startups with prospects of becoming big companies.
