Introduction to American Superpower Payday
The “American Superpower Payday” is a pitch by Keith Kohl where he touts an investment opportunity and advertises his investment newsletter, Energy Investor.
This pitch is coming at a time where American’s are trying to obtain as much money as possible because the economic uncertainty due to the coronavirus outbreak. I’ve personally seen a spike in interest for other similar schemes like trump bonus checks.
In the presentation, he talks about an Act of Congress that was passed unanimously that created an opening for ordinary American citizens to boost their incomes in what he refers to “American Superpower Paydays.”
He claims that there is a $270 billion windfall set aside to fund the paydays and that you can earn up to $1,818 per payday.
The only way you can access the money is by getting involved with six companies that are meant to share their profits with you throughout the year.
It all has to do with the PIPES Act, which was instituted to revamp the country’s energy infrastructure.
It encourages private investment in the industry but the companies that are involved have to follow unique guidelines courtesy of the 1981 tax code; they have to share part of their investment with regular citizens.
With the investment expected to be worth $270 billion, you can now see where Keith got his figure from.
Are these “superpower payments” actually dividends?
We’ve seen other analysts use elusive terms like “paydays” or other attention-grabbing terms to refer to dividends. Therefore, I think Keith is talking about dividend stocks that you should be investing in. He is only being indirect about it to keep it intriguing.

Who is behind the “American Superpower Payday” presentation?
Keith Kohl is an editor at Angel Publishing, a role he took up in October 2006. He writes for the free e-letter, Energy and Capital, and is the editor and leading analyst of Energy Investor and Oil & Gas trader – those two are premium publications.
I first discovered Keith when reviewing his Endless Clean Energy pitch and then again with Superpower Checks. It seems that “American Superpower Payday” is essentially a rebrand of the Superpower Checks pitch.
Keith focuses his research on the energy industry. He claims that his research has led him to numerous profit opportunities that were based on changes happening in the energy sector.
He likes to personally visit the companies that he recommends in the field to get a better sense of their financial health, which is similar to what the editor of Real Wealth Strategist (a natural resource newsletter) Matt Badiali does.

Is American Superpower Payday Legit?
“American Superpower Payday” is legit because Keith Kohl is a legitimate investment analyst.
Through his research, he was among the first people to call every major company that was involved in the oil shale business. His most noteworthy recommendations were companies that were exploiting the Bakken oil formation.
He traveled to the oil fields in the Marcellus Formation as well as Alberta’s remote oil sands area where he uncovered numerous investment openings for his readers.
With those recommendations, he has earned the right to talk about investment opportunities in the energy sector.
However, that does not signify that American Superpower Paydays will be an instant hit – it is still subject to systematic risks.

American Superpower Payday Verdict
The “American Superpower Payday” pitch is meant to entice you to sign up for the Energy Investor, which is Keith Kohl’s platform to show retail investors how to capitalize on little-known openings such as the “superpower paydays” (dividend opportunities).
Most of the research and recommendations he gives via the newsletter are in the energy markets. So, if you are interested in energy stocks and feel that his strategy is up to the task, it may be worth a try.
However, bear in mind that these recommendations are not guaranteed no matter how much Keith assures you they are a sure thing. That can be a bit confusing because he, like other newsletter editors, uses over-the-top promises to capture people’s attention.
A good rule of thumb you should abide by is: analyze each recommendation and only invest money you are comfortable losing.
