Who is Erik Finman

Erik Finman was born on October 26, 1998. He grew up in Post Falls, outside of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Finman is the youngest of three siblings.

According to Business Insider, Finman first recognized the significance of Bitcoin at a protest following the 2008 financial crisis.

Finman used $1,000 from his grandmother after doing his own research that was intended for his scholarship fund to purchase around 100 bitcoins. At the time, each coin was worth an estimated $10 to $12. He got into crypto early, just like Sam Bankman-Fried and Carl The Moon (Carl Runefelt) did.

However, the story gets a lot more interesting. Erik Finman had a terrible time going through the school system. He was bored and unmotivated. He says one teacher even told him that he would never amount to anything, so he should just drop out of school and start flipping burgers at McDonald’s.

Finman’s parents decided to pull him out of school, which is what he wanted, and began homeschooling him.

Erik Finman, an American entrepreneur and investor is best known as an early Bitcoin investor. He has an estimated net worth of $15 million. According to Erik Finman, Cryptocurrency and Blockchain technology has the power to end Wall Street Corruption.

In the true millionaire fashion, Erik Finman dropped out of high school at just age 15 after selling $100,000 worth of bitcoin. He then went on to create an education startup, Botangle that was meant to offer the right educational system to students that matched their learning style. This venture was designed for frustrated students like himself to find good teachers over video chat. He then began to intern at Silicon Valley start-ups and moved to San Francisco at age 15.

Finman sold the company for 300 Bitcoins two years later and moved to Silicon Valley when he was 17.

Career Journey

He started working for a company called Teraviks Robotics as a managing director. In 2014, he did a sales and marketing internship for three months in Sprayable Energy.

In 2015, he joined Smart Up and worked there as Global Communities Manager Internship.

Finman was financed by NASA to work on projects to launch a satellite time capsule into space, which was launched in December 2018. Singer Taylor Swift and Youtuber Logan Paul also contributed a video for the time capsule.

From 2016 to 2019, he worked as a Marketing Director at STEM Revolution Education. In January 2019 he joined Coin Bits and worked there until July 2019. At the end of 2019, he joined as a manager at Metal Play, a platform to buy, sell, and trade crypto currency. Which he says, is the competitor to Facebook’s upcoming Libra Cryptocurrency.

As of now 2022, Erik Finman holds more than 450 bitcoins, which is worth $12 million establishing himself at the top five Crypto millionaires in the world.

Freedom Phone consists of an operating system “based on free speech”. Erik explained in his video that the phone comes with a privacy guard called “Trust”, which reportedly alerts the users if their device being tracked or if they are being spied on.
