Jason Stutman recently released a teaser with the heading “New 5G Technology will soon be available to every American Household.”
Considering it was about 5G, a topic quite popular with newsletter editors and market analysts, I was eager to find out whether he was presenting us with new information or just recycling the spiel we’ve seen circulate for much of the past two years.
Therefore, I watched the whole video, did some research, and decided to write this article where I will provide you with a breakdown of the main points I took away from Jason’s presentation.

Introduction to New 5G Technology
Jason Stutman released (or re-released) a teaser about investing in 5G. In his pitch, he proclaims that its implementation will mark one of the biggest technological shifts in our lifetime.
He believes it will be so impactful, it will mark the end of the era of broadband cable. He believes this, in particular, will be cause for celebration because broadband providers are some of the most hated companies in the country. Now, all this is a prelude to the real reason for releasing the presentation: promoting his newsletter, Technology and Opportunity.
Now, before he gets to that, he schools his audience on the ripple effect that 5G will have across the technology sector as a whole.
For example, things like IoT will benefit from the extended bandwidth and self-driving cars will less of a pipe dream. Since IoT involves many devices, it will benefit from having faster internet.
Jason expects the jump from 4G or LTE to be more important than the previous upgrades (i.e 1G to 2G all the way to 4G). Then he argues that if some companies made bank with those smaller upgrades, you can only imagine the opportunities that will be had from the mother of all upgrades (4G to 5G)
Unsurprisingly, he believes that 5G will create a lucrative investment opportunity for savvy investors who invest in the right areas and companies early on. This is pretty similar to what we saw when I reviewed George Gilder’s 15G Stocks presentation or when I unpacked Louis Navellier’s pitch on Trump’s 5G Lockdown.
The conversation then segues into three stocks that he teases to entice you to subscribe to his newsletter. Before we get to that, let’s learn more about the man behind the camera, Jason Stutman:

Who Is Behind New 5G Technology?
As we’ve seen, Jason Stutman is the guru behind this presentation.
Jason is the senior technology analyst of Angel Publishing group. He joined the firm in 2013 and soon launched his first-ever investment advisory service, Technology and Opportunity.
His primary aim is to deliver relevant, actionable stock market commentary to retail investors and his investment strategy is quite straight-forward: he helps his readers to take advantage of the most impactful technological trends at any given time.
His analysis is currently focused on the following five tech growth trends: Artificial Intelligence, Next Generation Networking (5G), Virtual/Augmented Reality, MEMS/Sensors, and Autonomous Machines.
I have encountered his work before as I have reviewed Topline Trader and The Battle Over Bitcoin.

How Does New 5G Technology Work?
One of the main features of the presentation is the three stocks he thinks are primed to appreciate the most when 5G reaches mass adoption. He even wrote a report sharing their details. The report bears the title Ultranet Profits: Top 3 Stocks for Riding the 5G Revolution.
Jason is giving the report away for free, but not out of the kindness of his heart. The catch is that you have to sign up for his financial newsletter, Technology and Opportunity (remember how I pointed out that the whole show is all geared towards selling his newsletter).
What three companies have gotten Jason so excited?
The first one has a hand in the installation of 5G antennas. It invested $1.05 billion to upgrade its network in readiness for the 5G rollout and its vice president was on record saying “There’s a lot more to 5G than just a smartphone going, you know, a little bit faster on the network. So this next generation technology will be frankly one of the biggest leaps forward that I think we will see…”
The company he was hinting at here is Verizon (VZ) and here is the proof. Here is additional proof in case you still need it.
The second pick is in the business of making wireless products that are bought by some of the biggest network carriers. It has even worked with the Army and did business worth $100 million with first tier Indian telecom operators.
The company in question here is Ceragon Networks Ltd. (CRNT). Its main clients are wireless service providers and it did business with Indian telecom operators worth $100 million as per this article on its website.
Moving on to the third company, Jeff calls it a “small cell kingpin” because it manufactures a component in 5G antennas. It has worked with car makers, the US Navy, Lockheed Martin, and has supplied microchips to Apple.
He was referring to Skyworks (SWKS), which manufactures semiconductors that are used in communication systems.

Is New 5G Technology Legit?
I think Jason’s presentation about New 5G Technology is legit.
Jason Stutman is a technology investment analyst who works for Angel Publishing. He focuses on new technological trends such as 5G. He claims to be doing so well that he has outperformed the broader market since he started publishing his newsletters (although he doesn’t reveal the benchmarks he was referring to).
That being said, his recommendations in the future will not guarantee you positive returns because the market is unpredictable. In fact, you should be prepared for negative results and that’s why you are advised to invest money you can afford to lose.
New 5G Technology Verdict
5G has been one of the most talked about topics in the investment circles, and for good reason. When it becomes ubiquitous and widely used, we will see many companies benefit from that and investors will inevitably make money.
The caveat is that we are not sure how fast the rollout will be effected and what companies will benefit the most from its build out. However, experts like Jason Stutman know the industry better than the average investor and it may prove useful to, at least, hear them out.
Jason is not infallible and his recommendations may fail to work out; but you can learn something from him regardless.
