Jeff Brown says that the Crypto Placement Summit is his first time hosting a free event to discuss how he invests in the crypto markets.
I am not so sure about that because he has done presentations like The Crypto Effect and NFT Moment Coins.
He says that the best way to invest in the cryptocurrency market is to trade in what he calls “Crypto Placements.”
He refers to them as his favorite way to play the crypto markets.
What are crypto placements?
As of writing this, I can’t tell what exactly Jeff Brown is talking about but he does say that they make up less than 1% of the crypto market and are 83,000 times smaller than Bitcoin.
He also adds that they don’t trade on the regular crypto exchanges but anyone can access them.
That’s all he says about them before he claims that they’re giving early-stage investors gains as high as 8,567%, 20,300%, and even 44,844%.

As I mentioned in the preamble of this article, the cryptocurrency market has been riddled with uncertainty in 2022 (more than usual).
In May, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have taken a major hit. The November 2021 highs feel like a distant memory now.
Although the recent sell-off can be blamed on a myriad of factors, perhaps the most significant one is the collapse of one of the 10 largest coins in the world, Terra Luna.

Jeff Brown is an investment guru who writes frequently about investing in tech stocks. He has also been writing about NFTs and claims to have recommended Bitcoin in 2015 at $240, effectively making him a cryptocurrency expert.
Jeff Brown is the founder and chief investment analyst for Brownstone Research, an independent financial research firm that publishes newsletters targeting retail investors.
Before he launched Brownstone Research, he spent 25 years as a high-technology executive. He worked for companies like Qualcomm, NXP Semiconductors, and Juniper Networks at the executive level.
Jeff Brown is an active angel investor in early-stage technology companies. He claims to have an edge because he has access to information the public never sees and he sees things months, if not years before the mass market becomes aware.
He has a wide range of technology industry experience. From semiconductors to mobility, to broadcasting and video technology, to technology infrastructure, to IT networking and security, to automotive and even consumer electronics.
Jeff has an undergraduate degree in aeronautical and astronautical engineering from Purdue University. He also has a master’s degree in management from the London Business School. Jeff is also an alumnus of Yale University’s School of Management.

I think Jeff Brown’s Crypto Placements Summit is a legit event.
It is a webinar where Jeff will give his opinion on how the cryptocurrency market is likely to pan out and how he thinks we should navigate it. There is nothing inherently illegitimate about that and it will be interesting to see what he will talk about.
That being said, I am not endorsing the event and will leave that to you to decide whether it is worth checking out.

Jeff Brown’s Crypto Placements Summit comes at a time when the cryptocurrency market looks more vulnerable than it was starting mid-2020 to the last quarter of 2021. There has been a massive sell-off as I write this and major cryptocurrencies have been shedding value at an unusually high rate.
