Introduction to Mind Capital

Mind.Capital appears to be another fraudulent crypto scheme that promises to invest in the crypto-assets market on your behalf delivering daily returns.

In reality, however, it is an elaborate Multi-Level Marketing scheme.

In this review, we will examine what they say they are and expose what they really are.

On the topic of crypto MLM style business opportunities, I have noticed that they are making a resurgence.

Just recently I shared my review of OPM Wealth which is being pushed by numerous marketers and also EXXA wallet which I also suspected was most likely a fraudulent operation.

Mind Capital (Mind.Capital)

According to its official site,

Mind.Capital is a high-tech crypto-asset investment system led by Gonzalo Garcia-Pelayo together with an international team of experts in Mathematics, investments, and technology.

It uses a high yield investment program (HYIP) format which promises high returns on investment. Whether they fulfill their promises is a whole other matter.

Gonzalo claims to have launched Mind Capital after doing his research on blockchain and tracking the evolution of crypto-assets and their price movements in the past few years.

He says that he now uses advanced algorithms to monitor and analyze crypto-assets in search of buying or selling opportunities.

His goal is to generate profits using his optimized AI system.

The algorithm exploits market inefficiencies to generate returns every day (between 0.5% to 1.5%).

I am skeptical of all these claims to be honest. I do believe that crypto has the potential to create incredible gains but only through legitimately investing in the right cryptos which you will only learn by doing legitimate research or following other experts via services like Ultimate Crypto as promoted via the Crypto Millionaire Summit.

Who is behind Mind Capital?

Gonzalo Garcia-Pelayo is a former film director, TV host, radio host, and music producer.

He was thrust into the limelight when he beat various casinos in the nineties with his roulette strategy.

His gambling exploits were the subject of a feature film called The Pelayos.

They also led to him writing a host of books on gambling, including Bet to Win, Learn to Play Poker with Los Pelayos, and The Fabulous Story of Los Pelayos.

He opened a school called Los Pelayos Poker to teach people how to be great at online poker.

He claims that he intends to bring his experience to trading crypto-assets.

How does Mind Capital Work?

Gonzalo asserts that along with his team of math, investment, and technology experts, he studies the evolution of crypto assets to find the optimum moments to buy and sell them for profit.

He aims to exploit price differences of the assets in different markets – this is what arbitrage trading entails.

From his description, he is probably referring to statistical arbitrage (it utilizes algorithms to capitalize on pricing discrepancies that vanish very fast).

The problem with his analogy is that he doesn’t explain his philosophy or provide valid evidence of his strategy delivering results.

What he shows on the website are fake trades with bogus results.

Mind Capital’s Affiliate Network

Mind Capital’s affiliate network pays up to 30% of the membership fees to referrals up to 10 levels.

This is what really raised a reg flag for me when I saw well known marketers pushing Mind Capital who had been involved in other similar (collapsed) programs in the past.

There are minimum contributions needed to receive payments from each referral level.

The payments are as follows (minimum contributions are in parentheses):

  • Level 1 ($100): 8%
  • Level 2 ($100): 4%
  • Level 3 ($5,000): 3%
  • Level 4 ($5,000): 3%
  • Level 5 ($15,000): 2%
  • Level 6 ($15,000): 2%
  • Level 7 ($50,000): 2%
  • Level 8 ($50,000): 2%
  • Level 9 ($100,000): 2%
  • Level 10 ($100,000): 2%

For example, if you shell out $50,000, you will be paid for all new memberships up to 8 levels beneath you.

I guess that this is the only way you can make money when you join Mind Capital.

Therefore, Gonzalo does not engage in statistical arbitrage; instead, he has a system that encourages people to enroll new members to receive commissions.

The more money you invest, the higher your proportionate returns.

This model is highly unsustainable as we’ve seen with other crypto schemes that collapsed in 2017 and 2018.

How to join Mind Capital

To join Mind Capital, you register an account filling in your details in the registration form.

If you have been referred to the site, registration is free. The minimum amount you can invest with is $100.

They also accept payments in Bitcoins.

Is Mind Capital Legit?

I do not believe Mind.Capital is legit – at least not in the way it is advertised.

While they claim to use your money to invest in crypto-assets to grow it and deliver profits, their actual business is collecting money from new members and re-distributing it to the other members in the affiliate network via large commission payouts.

This is the main reason why you see well known network marketers pushing this opportunity to their email subscriber lists and Facebook followers.

I think it is dishonest of them to mislead us into thinking that their main business is to invest on their members’ behalf.

The affiliate plan, which they present as a side benefit, is their core business.

As I already stated in this review, the only legitimate way to get big returns with cryptocurrency is investing direct with the actual cryptos via exchanges.

To do this is still extremely risky due to the volatility of the cryptocurrency market.

Personally if you don’t really know what you are doing I’d take a look at well known crypto advocates like Teeka Tiwari’s 5 coins to 5 million as well as the Bitcoin Masterclass Summit.

Mind Capital Verdict

I wouldn’t advise you to invest your money in Mind.Capital’s program because it appears as a ponzi scheme.

The people who will make a lot of money from Mind Capital are the marketers who refer people, not the actual investors.

Gonzalo Garcia may have been good at roulette, but his attempt to translate that into the cryptocurrency market is not really worth writing about – he may not even be involved with cryptos in any way.

As I stated earlier, I think Mind Capital is a multi-level marketing scheme that doesn’t sell any product or service (managing your investment is the service).

As such, it is unsustainable and thus likely to collapse as all other Ponzi multi-level marketing schemes do.
