What is Qmee?
Qmee is a market research company launched in 2012 by two businessmen, Jonathan Knight and Nick Sutton. It started as a web application that only rewarded members for performing searches on Google, Bing, Amazon, and other online stores.
Qmee is an online service that allows you to earn a modest amount of money online from a combination of searching the web, shopping, taking surveys and participating in offers. It gives people the opportunity to make money working from home like other programs like Pinecone Research and Arise Work From Home .
It falls into the category of “reward sites,” and it’s something you may wish to consider as a “side gig” if you want to earn some extra cash. Qmee offers some features you’ve probably seen from other similar sites, along with some unique features and details that set it apart from the competition.
Its main appeal? It offers a no minimum cash out for its users and utilizes deep machine learning to facilitate a better user experience. The registration process is also free and fast.
The platform also has a solid reputation within the online community. While there are some low paying tasks, it is possible to make a dollar or two per day.
This makes it a good option for those looking to make cash in their spare time, such as students, retirees, or stay at home parents. However, if you’re looking for quick cash or need a full time income, this is not likely to be the right choice for you.
Qmee partners with companies that wish to promote their products. After installing the extension to your browser, there’s a possibility that your search results will match with one of their advertisers. If this happens, a small sidebar will appear.
On the sidebar will be a list of ads and a specific dollar amount located to each link. Click on the link, and you’ll automatically receive that amount in your Qmee account. You’ll also be shown a price comparisons and coupons for the product you’re looking for.
Keep in mind that only ads relevant to your search phrase will be shown. If there isn’t anything relevant, the sidebar will not appear. Their goal is to help connect you with whatever you’re searching for. This way you’re able to quickly compare products and reviews through other sources by gathering them in one spot.
Who Can Join?
To join Qmee you must be at least 16 years old and reside in Australia, Canada, United Kingdom or United States. Qmee app is available for all iOS and Android users while the Qmee site can be accessed on any computer.

How Qmee Works
Qmee pays you to do tasks such as completing surveys, searching the web, answering daily polls and pop quizzes and referring friends to their app.
To do these tasks, you’ll have to sign up for a Qmee account and then either download the app or use Qmee’s Chrome extension, depending on how you want to make money with this app.
Once you’re signed up to Qmee, you’ll gain access to surveys, cashback deals, paid search, and other money-making offers/opportunities. The more fully and accurately you fill out your Qmee profile, the more relevant offers you’ll be sent.
Once you earn at least $0.01, you’ll be able to connect your PayPal account to Qmee and cash out.
Qmee also provides an app, which is very handy if you want to complete surveys on the go. Just like the desktop site, the Qmee app also has plenty of surveys available.
Qmee gives you a fairly accurate indication of how long a survey actually takes. All experienced survey takers out there know that there are sites that will tell you a survey takes 15 minutes when really, it takes 30. Qmee calculates how long the average user takes and gives you an expected time versus the actual time. For example, the survey below was expected to take 12 minutes, when in fact, it took just 6.
Qmee sign up process
To join Qmee, simply go to the Qmee login page and enter your email address and password. It’s really that easy.
Unfortunately, Qmee is only available if you’re in the US, the UK, Australia or Canada. This means that if Qmee isn’t available in your country, you won’t be able to sign up. You will then be required to complete your survey profile so that Qmee can match you with surveys that you meet the criteria.

Filling Out Your Survey Profile
While signing up for Qmee, one of the first things you’ll want to do is fill out your survey profile. The more comprehensive and overt your survey profile is as a survey taker, the better your chances are at being matched with a survey.
Whenever your experience or any relevant information changes you’ll want to update it in Qmee as well.
When I filled out my profile, it was super easy. The questions they ask are pretty general and if you don’t want to answer something you can just skip it.
How do you get paid?
In the beginning, I mentioned that Qmee has no minimum cash rewards.
The main way to get paid on Qmee is through PayPal. You can, in theory, get paid already when you have earned $0.10 it would not make much sense in my opinion, unless it is your first payout and you just want to confirm that you will actually get your money before spending any more time.
It is however great to be able to get your money when you want, and I personally prefer PayPal, so glad to see Qmee offer this as a payout scheme.
Just be aware that you need a verified PayPal account to be able to get paid from Qmee, so make sure you get your account verified before joining.
Alternatively, you can also choose to donate your earnings to charity or get your rewards paid out in gift cards.
Qmee App
The Qmee app is a free app available on both iPhone and Android. You can download it and automatically access your Qmee account, straight from your phone. Find deals with the automatic price comparison tool when shopping online, get notified of new surveys and request payments, directly from the app.
The Qmee browser extension is similar to the Qmee app in that you can see your cash rewards balance directly from the extension, and it includes an automatic price comparison tool which will compare price savings of different products, so that you don’t have to. The tool can help save you money with coupons and deals, all without having to go to different sites to compare.

Earning opportunities that Qmee offers
Qmee offers several ways to earn some extra cash online. So let’s go over how you can earn on the site and how good the opportunities are. The most popular way is through Qmee surveys as it majorly viewed as a survey site
Qmee Surveys
Qmee is essentially a paid survey site and the main way to earn here is by answering surveys.
Qmee surveys come in all different varieties. I’ve had political surveys, gaming related ones, surveys about shopping, banking surveys, and the list goes on.
Here’s one of the highest paying Qmee surveys I’ve seen recently:
There are even some Qmee surveys that require a webcam, and they usually pay more because of that. Here’s an example of one:
5 minutes for $1.25? Not bad. That’s about $15/hour if the time is accurate.
Qmee boasts of having many survey options since they collect and curate surveys from multiple research companies.
However, there are some downsides to this system as well; for example; you get asked the same initial questions very often (e.g. what’s your gender, where are you from, when were you born, etc.) – Sadly this is just a part of taking surveys, luckily it usually doesn’t take up too much time, some sites aren’t mobile-friendly but Qmee usually weeds these out pretty fast, some surveys ask for too much information – These are the ones that (as mentioned above) you’ll want to avoid and report.

The Daily Poll
The Qmee daily poll is an anonymous multiple choice question that all Qmee users can participate in.
It only takes a few seconds to answer the daily poll and seeing the results is pretty interesting, however, the big benefit of filling it out is that it keeps your streak going.
Qmee Streaks
Streaks are fairly new to Qmee and they’re pretty important. By having a 5-day streak, you’ll earn 10% more for each survey you complete.
To keep your streak going you need to either complete a survey or answer the daily poll.
I make sure to log on every day just to answer the daily poll so I don’t lose my streak. It’s super quick and it’s worth it when a high paying survey finally pops up.

Shopping discounts
This is more “saving” than “earning” but also worth mentioning. Sometimes you can find cashback deals on Qmee, which can be a great way to get back a percentage of what you spend online anyway.
But you can also sometimes find deals. This is mainly through the browser extension.
When you search online and have the Qmee extension on, you will sometimes see coupons and savings for the items you are shopping for. This is of course not as such a way to earn money, as you have to spend money to get anything out of this feature.
But if you like shopping online, it can be a great way to get some savings on items you are going to buy anyways.
Qmee Searches
Lots of people are curious about Qmee searches, and yes, Qmee does pay you for searching online and clicking on certain results.
You can earn by using a regular search engine like Google.
For this to work, you need to install the Qmee extension for your browser. Once you have done this, you can, for example, earn by just using Google.
When you search, you might see some ads show up after you have done a search.
Here’s an example of a paid search I had recently:
What I really like about the Qmee search feature is that it isn’t intrusive at all. Some similar sites make you use their own search engine but with Qmee you can simply download the extension and use Google and earn.

Cashback Deals
A lot of GPT sites these days have cashback offers and Qmee is no different.
Shopping at different sites through the Qmee site or app will earn you some easy money, but only if you’re willing to spend some first!
Qmee pop quiz
Every now and then, Qmee will run a pop quiz for a certain period of time, usually around two weeks. This generally involves you “finding” the pop quiz as you navigate around the app and then you’ll have a short period of time to answer the questions.
These are actually pretty lucrative compared to some of your other earnings on Qmee, as you can be paid up to $1.00 for answering the question. The downside is that this isn’t available all the time as a way to make money through Qmee, so it’s good to take advantage of this when it’s on offer.
Paid Games
All the paid games I’ve seen so far on Qmee are mobile only. Like most paid game offers, you’ll need to download an app and reach a certain milestone or, in some cases, spend money within the game.

Qmee Referral Program
The Qmee referral program is interesting because they don’t let you access it right away. It actually took me about three months to gain access to it.
The good thing about this is that it makes you use Qmee and really test it out before you can start recommending it to other people. Once you’ve been using Qmee it for a while, the referral section will automatically show up on your account.
Once you’re in you’ll notice that the Qmee referral program is a bit different from other similar referral programs. Instead of just one invite link, you get three.
The three different links let you choose what happens with the $1 referral reward:
- Link #1 – You keep 100% of the reward ($1)
- Link #2 – You share the reward equally with your friend ($0.50 each)
- Link #3 – You give 100% of the reward to your friend ($1)
Is Qmee Legit?
Yes, Qmee is a legit company that’ll earn you some money. It has thousands of positive Qmee reviews across sites like TrustPilot, Google Play and the App Store. While there are negative reviews, these are common for any sort of survey site and often relate more to people not qualifying for surveys rather than an issue with Qmee itself.
In particular, Qmee is legitimate in terms of the fact that you’ll definitely get any money you earn. While you may not earn all that much with Qmee you can still access your Qmee earnings at any time.
In addition, they’ve been around for a long time, they don’t ask for any extremely sensitive information, they pay out quickly (in most cases, instantly), the surveys on the platform are moderated and curated well, there’s no minimum payout, and they’re active on socials and transparent as a company.
I found no signs suggesting that Qmee could be a scam.
Of course, just because something is legit doesn’t mean it’s worth your time! Keep on reading this Qmee review to know if it is right up your alley.

Is Qmee Safe?
Qmee is generally safe to use, or as safe as other survey sites and GPT sites at least. Due to the nature of this type of site, you will have to give up some personal information if you want to make money.
That said, the biggest security concern with Qmee is that they get most of their surveys from third-parties. While they do their best to get rid of any shady surveys, and Qmee users report them quickly as well, sometimes you’ll come across surveys asking for too much personal information. Be sure to report and avoid these types of surveys.
Another security concern is with the paid search feature. According to Qmee’s privacy policy, they basically track your internet browsing history when you have the extension installed. As long as you’re not making any super weird searches, this shouldn’t be too big of a deal, but it’s worth noting.
Qmee Pros and Cons
Pros
No payout minimum
This is amazing and extremely rare. For this one reason, Qmee is one of my favorite survey sites.
Quick payouts
A minute after requesting my money to my Paypal account, the money showed up. Same with gift card withdrawals.
Large supply of surveys
Qmee collects surveys from multiple companies so they almost always have work available.
The mobile app
Doing surveys on the go, in waiting rooms, while watching TV, etc. is just awesome. The app works really well too.
Not many disqualifications
I had quite a few disqualifications before filling out my profile, but once I answered the general questions and got my profile strength to 98%, I rarely get disqualified anymore. If I do get disqualified, it usually happens in under a minute so it’s not a huge loss.

Cons
Survey time estimates seem off
Every survey seems to take me longer than it says it should take. A 10-minute survey usually takes me 15-25 minutes. I even entered a survey once that said it would take 14 minutes, and then the survey provider said it would take around 25 minutes.
You need a PayPal account
This is something that actually doesn’t bother me too much, but I can see it being a problem for others. Your first Qmee payment HAS to be through PayPal to verify your identity, so if you don’t have PayPal you’re screwed
Not a job replacement
This goes for all survey sites but it’s worth mentioning. Qmee is only meant to be used to make extra money.

Other Qmee Reviews
I was curious to see what others were saying about Qmee so I went over to their Facebook page to find out.
I couldn’t include everything, but here are some of the Qmee reviews I saw from other users there (names are blurred for privacy):
Conclusion
Having a side hustle has become a necessity, especially after the covid-19 pandemic destabilized the majority of people’s income and way of life.
Online gigs are a suitable income avenue right now and could really supplement your income or better yet give you a job replacing income.
As discussed in this Qmee review, Qmee surveys may not offer you a job replacing income, however it would make a good side hustle to earn a little extra cash.
Qmee has some benefits; it is legit and offers reasonable payouts than many other survey sites. However, if you want to make money online for more freedom and independence, Qmee alone won’t provide that (nor do they claim to).
Like all legit survey sites, they won’t make you rich but could at least supplement your income.
