It was an event that featured Matt McCall and Charlie Shrem whereby they talked about investing in cryptocurrencies. I got my hands on the video recording of it and after watching it, I decided to write about what I found out.
In this review, I highlight the main talking points of their discussion and give my opinion on it.

Introduction of 2021 Crypto Millionaire Forecast
The 2021 Crypto Millionaire Forecast is a webinar that was hosted by a journalist called Lauren Sivan, who interviewed Matt McCall and Charlie Shrem to get them to talk about how they intend to approach the cryptocurrency market.
The “interview” starts with Lauren talking about how the GameStop saga unfolded earlier this year when a group of individual investors decided to push demand for the embattled stock high thus raising prices. This caused a short squeeze because hedge funds had heavily shorted the stock. Overall, it was seen as a “David takes on Goliath” type of situation with the retail investors (David in this story) taking on the hedge fund fat cats and winning.
Matt McCall then jumped in and said that the GameStop “revolution” would inspire other “populist revolts” across markets where the little guys would take on the rich. One such market he sees this taking place in is the cryptocurrency market.
Matt says that cryptocurrenies are the #1 weapon regular people have against Wall Street.
To elaborate this, Charlie says that the blockchain (the infrastructure on which cryptos are built) is about to evolve. Bitcoin is based on what he calls ‘blockchain 1.0’ whose job was about making the exchange of money more transparent, cutting out governments and middlemen. The next phase, ‘blockchain 2.0’, will have a similar effect on information. Therefore, it will do for information what Bitcoin did for currency.
Blockchain 2.0 will streamline the storage and distribution of information.
Charlie and Matt zeroed in on one of the impacts this will have in what they refer to as decentralized finance, or “DeFi” in short.
Decentralized Finance is a form of finance that gets rid of middlemen in the financial system like brokerages, regulatory bodies, and intermediaries. It encourages the use of smart contracts rather than conventional financial instruments. People use these contracts to borrow and lend, speculate on derivatives, trade cryptos, and earn interest in savings accounts. This is similar to what Martin Weiss was proposing as he was promoting Weiss Crypto Investor.
And this brings us to how Matt and Charlie want us to invest.
They want us to invest in Altcoins (cryptocurrencies that are not Bitcoin) that will be impacted by blockchain 2.0. They don’t tease any digital currency they want us to consider and instead propose that we read a report they wrote called 5 DeFi Coins For 50X Gains in which they share details of their top five cryptocurrency recommendations.

Who Is Behind 2021 Crypto Millionaire Forecast?
Matt McCall and Charlie Shrem are investment analysts who claim to know the cryptocurrency market better than most people.
Matt McCall is the founder and president of Penn Financial Group. Penn Financial Group is an investment advisory firm that serves both individual and institutional clients. He works for InvestorPlace as an editor and has a hand in publishing a couple of newsletters.
Over the past decade, Matt McCall has focused on finding the best exchange-traded funds and individual stocks to invest in. When it comes to stock selection, he prefers a top-down, macro-to-micro strategy that he claims maximizes your profits and helps you to manage risk. Matt has been active for more than seventeen years.
Charlie Shrem, is an American entrepreneur and bitcoin advocate. He is a founding member of the Bitcoin Foundation. In addition to it, he co-founded the now-defunct startup company called BitInstant.

Is 2021 Crypto Millionaire Forecast Legit?
2021 Crypto Millionaire Forecast is a legit event that took place. It featured two people who have spent a lot of time monitoring cryptocurrencies. Charlie Shrem even helped found the Bitcoin Foundation, which educates people about the cryptocurrency and advocate its utility. Admittedly, Charlie was imprisoned for aiding and abetting unlicensed money transmission and he did his time.
Although the ideas they espouse in the presentation may sound outlandish, it doesn’t mean that they are illegitimate.
2021 Crypto Millionaire Forecast Verdict
The 2021 Crypto Millionaire Forecast is an ad for a newsletter (Ultimate Crypto). But besides promoting a newsletter, it also gives the two analysts the opportunity to give their opinions on where they think the cryptocurrency market is headed. According to them, the GameStop saga will inspire “populist revolts” in other markets and now is the ideal time to prepare for that by investing in altcoins.
The other justification for investing is that there is a new revolution taking place with blockchain that will affect decentralized finance.
I’ll conclude this by saying that whatever you make of the presentation and the reasoning behind Matt and Charlie’s assertions, you get to see the market from their perspective and form your opinion after that. Therefore, do not rush to subscribe to a newsletter on account of the presentation before you evaluate it objectively (separately).
