Introduction to The Bonner-Denning Letter

The Bonner-Denning Letter is a monthly e-letter cowritten by Dan Denning and Bill Bonner. They share their insights on a wide range of micro and macroeconomic topics.

In his presentation, Tom Dyson starts by talking of how up to twenty-six million Americans are on unemployment due to the effects of financialization, globalization, and Wall Street bailouts. He also points out that public debt has gone up by 382% since 2000.

Why is he going all out on these issues?

He wants to set the tone for the newsletter as a way out for out-of-luck citizens who are disgruntled by the financial system as it is set up.

The Bonner-Denning Letter

He proposes an analogy of a two-tier financial system where the rich, who comprise of just 10% of the population are becoming richer as 90% of the population gets poorer. He also says that the middle class in America is stuck and has been stabbed in the back. He also points out that many good jobs have been shipped overseas.

He says that a crisis is brewing and that the Fed’s monetary policy of Quantitative Easing may not work for much longer.

He points out that interest rates have fallen too low for saving to be profitable and America is getting weaker as China gets stronger. Therefore, he wants to prepare you for a tough period by investing in the right assets.

Since he says that a big threat is coming that can wipe out your retirement savings what does he think is the best form of investments to navigate the crisis?

He wants you to invest in gold. He says that gold will retain its value as inflation brings down the value of the dollar and that the best way to prepare for that is to invest in it. He has written a report called How to Front-Run the Fed where he explains how he wants you to invest. To get a free copy, you have to subscribe to The Bonner-Denning Letter.

Is The Bonner-Denning Letter Legit?

The Bonner-Denning Letter is legit because it is run by real investing gurus. They share their economic insights to help you better-manage your resources. However, I wouldn’t join expecting to get rich or hoping to never make a mistake as long as I follow their instructions because even legitimate gurus like Bill Bonner and Dan Denning will get it wrong from time to time. Therefore, you should understand the risks involved and educate yourself before following their advice.

The Bonner-Denning Letter Verdict

The Bonner-Denning Letter is a macroeconomic newsletter through which Bill Bonner, Tom Dyson, and Dan Denning share their contrarian ideas about the world of finance to help you preserve your wealth. It is not a stock-picking newsletter because they don’t give trade recommendations.

Collectively, the three have decades of experience and they bring unique perspectives concerning the economy. These unique perspectives are not available on mainstream media.

If you have come across Tom Dyson’s pitch, do not sign up for the newsletter out of fear for the unknown (because Tom instills that in his presentation). Learn more about the newsletter first.
