Is Alex Koyfman’s “Mental Netflix” Pitch Legit?

Welcome to my review of a presentation by Alex Koyfman that I will be referring to as “Mental Netflix.”

Alex is known for his future-oriented approach when looking for tech companies to invest in so it didn’t come as a surprise that he was pitching another one for the future.

He mentioned that you can see a “1,000 fold gain within the next five to 10 years” where “every $1,000 invested would turn into a cool $1 million.”

There is a whole lot of Deja vu with this one so in this presentation, I will walk you through what he was referring to. I will also unveil the company he is teasing.

Introduction to Mental Netflix

Mental Netflix is a presentation that Alex Koyfman uses to tease a company developing a device that amazed him so much he described it as “mental Netflix.” He even said that whenever he brings it up when talking to other investors, they describe it as “This can’t be real. This has to be science fiction.”

Alex is talking about a radical new technology that he says can take control of your mind.

He says that it will be hitting the commercial market later this year and that it can simulate your sensations, emotions, and all feelings by stimulating the brain with electromagnetic waves.

The technology behind the device was originally developed by a team of PhDs and biotech engineers for a company called Emulate Therapeautics who intended to use it to cure brain tumors. This technology can stimulate your brain and trigger natural responses in the body.

The company he is teasing took that technology and created a wearable device that would trigger a variety of sensations when watching movies, listening to music, or enjoying anything that engages the senses. It was meant to enhance the senses you experience when enjoying content, which explains the Netflix reference.

Who is Alex Koyfman?

Alex Koyfman claims that he is not a typical investment “guru” as he has never worked for a Wall Street bank or attended an Ivy League business school.

However, that hasn’t stopped him from forging a career in the finance sector, where he has worked for almost 20 years. His interest in investments began as a hobby in his teens and in his 20s, he decided to turn that into a career.

He now offers investment advice to individual investors through his newsletters. He joined Angel Publishing in 2014 and has since been offering an advisory service called the Microcap Insider.

His research mainly centers on small companies (penny stocks).

What company is Jeff teasing in the “Mental Netflix” pitch?

The company that best matches the array of references in the presentation is Hapbee (OTCMKTS: HAPBF). It is a Canadian wellness company that sells a wearable gadget that you control with your smartphone. It enables you to feel calm, alert, focused, relax, or sleepy on command.

The device is based on ultra-low radiofrequency energy (ulRFE) technology that was pioneered by Emulate Therapeutics.

Alex has written more about it in a report called Netflix for the Mind: A Trillion-Dollar Consumer Tech Revolution but you won’t be needing that to reveal the name of the company he is teasing.

You can get the report for free only but only if you subscribe to Microcap Insider. You will receive the below-listed benefits:

Is Mental Netflix Legit?

Mental Netflix is a legit presentation.

Alex Kofyman is a credible investment analyst with a two-decade involvement in the finance industry. He targeted the little-known company because he thinks it has a huge upside potential and there’s nothing wrong with that.

He may have used a salesy tone with the pitch but that’s to be expected of investment gurus who are trying to sell a newsletter. This is quite common with investment analysts and you should take their words with a pinch of salt.

Mental Netflix Verdict

Hapbee is a relatively small company that started trading publicly in the OTC markets in January (2021). Their wearable device was subject to an Indiegogo campaign that sought feedback from end-users. It was a success and as of June (2020), they had presold over 1,600 units.

It’s a good thing that people think their product is great and it will be interesting to see how their story develops. If you are considering investing in the company, do more research to ascertain that you will be comfortable making such a move.

That being said, you should still exercise caution with your investments by not investing more money than you are willing to lose.
