James Altucher is best known for his self-help content, and in particular his bestselling book, Choose Yourself. The mantra of the critically acclaimed book, “Be Happy, Make Millions, Live the Dream” is exemplified in how he approaches finance through his newsletter.

Altucher’s Investment Network is designed to help individual investors to take advantage of all kinds of investment opportunities in the market. This includes widely-known opportunities as well as niche ones that few people know about.

James Altucher is an entrepreneur and angel investor who’s started about 20 companies (17 of which have not made it). He has also had a fairly successful stint as a trader. Therefore, if you are going to be receiving investment advice from anyone, he has impressive credentials backed up by experiences (failures and successes).

The newsletter merely serves as a conduit for James to tell his subscribers how he would approach things although it should not be mistaken for personalized advice.

Since he wrote his book (Choose Yourself) to inspire people who were going through financial difficulties to utilize the tools afforded to them by technology to make something of themselves, this newsletter is an embodiment of Altucher’s attitude towards money.
