Authority Hacker Review
What is Authority Hacker?
Authority Hacker is a popular website and podcast that teaches people how to create an online business.
There are many sites that also show people how to get started online, whether it is in dropshipping, affiliate marketing, or even email marketing. We’ve covered a few of those here before, including Inbound Closer, The Asigo System, and even Fullstaq Marketer.
More specifically, the site (and podcast) share actionable internet marketing training to teach budding entrepreneurs how to create a highly profitable authority site through The Authority Site System.
Authority Hacker was founded in 2013 and has cemented its position as a leading resource for people seeking to learn the ropes of online marketing.
As stated, Authority Hacker runs two courses. Here’s a quick overview of both programs:
- The Authority Site System 3.0: The Authority Site System 3.0 shows you how to start, build and grow highly profitable affiliate authority sites. It is created for newbies and intermediates grossing less than 1k per month with their authority sites.
- Authority Hacker Pro: Authority Hacker Pro is created for advanced marketers who own already profitable authority websites and want to take things a notch higher.
With that out of the way, let’s dive deep into our Authority Hacker review.
Who’s Behind Authority Hacker?
Authority Hacker was founded by Gael Breton and Mark Webster.
Gael is a France native and Authority Hacker’s editor–in chief. He creates content for the website and online courses. He’s also in charge of the site’s market research and strategic planning.
Mark is form Scotland and is charged with overseeing Authority Hacker’s business side and its related properties.
Mark is a systems expert who got into the internet marketing world with AdSense campaigns and ClickBank products in 2018.
Before starting Authority Hacker, Gael and Mark operated a client-facing SEO agency that ran white and gray hat SEO campaigns.
After getting hit by the Penguin update and the exhaustion of creating businesses for other people, they decided to build their first authority site.
Gael and Mark leveraged their experience over the years to create Heath Ambition, a website that went on to generate 150,000 in organic traffic.
Through their two courses – The Authority Site System (TASS) and Authority Hacker Pro – Gael and Mark seek to equip people with the skills to build successful authority sites, as they did with Heath Ambition.
And, indeed, Gael and Mark have done a commendable job if the rave reviews Authority Hacker has attracted so far are anything to go by.
That said, I will divide this Authority Hacker review into two sections – The Authority Site System review and Authority Hacker Pro review. But first, let me get a few things out of the way.
What is an Authority Site?
According to the Authority Hacker website, an authority site is a content-driven website that is a trusted and respected source of information.
It is typically a website that offers a great value through its outstanding editorial standards. That way, readers can trust the advice and recommendations the site offers.
An authority site has multiple traffic sources and revenue streams. The website doesn’t sell physical products.
Gael and Mark say authority sites are great because you don’t have to deal with physical inventory, you don’t have to offer customer service, and they are an excellent way to generate passive income.
How Do Authority Sites Make Money?
Affiliate sites generate revenue by selling affiliate products, direct placement advertisements, and in-house products.
Affiliate products and online media ads are the most common ways authority sites use to make money.
The Authority Site System and the Authority Hacker Pro teach the fundamentals of building authority sites that generate money through affiliate marketing.
How Can You Build an Authority Website?
You can create an authority site by creating content that matches the intent behind the keyword you’re targeting. On top of that, the content has to be high-quality and linkable.
You’ll also need to link out to quality sites and develop a link-building strategy to ensure that Google and other search engines understand that your content is authoritative.
The truth is, building authority sites is easier said than done, especially if you don’t have the training to guide you through the process.
Luckily, you can leverage Authority Hacker’s courses – The Authority Site System – to help get you started and the Authority Hacker Pro to teach you how to scale your online business.
How is Authority Hacker Different?
Sure, the affiliate marketing course market is inundated with many training programs.
But there are a few things that I believe separate Authority Hacker from most other folks who teach affiliate marketing:
They walk their talk
Authority Hacker is constantly building and running high-level authority sites, and are pretty transparent about their results. As Mark says in TASS, “We’re only teaching you tactics which we actually use ourselves.”
They’re acknowledged by other internet marketers
You’ll find many big names within the IM world praising and recommending Authority Hacker. Gael and Mark have also been regular speakers at IM events.
There is an emphasis on design and branding
Mark and Gael aren’t designers, yet their sites always look incredibly well designed and branded. (There are a number of lessons about this within TASS.)
It’s clear that these guys don’t build sites just to make a quick buck. They strive to create white-hat, value-adding sites they can be proud of, and that are likely to be profitable for a long time.
These guys are excellent at figuring out step-by-step processes and finding ways to streamline them. You’ll see many examples of this in their free and premium training.
All combined, it’s no wonder that brokers like Empire Flippers and FE International have positive things to say about sites that are built the Authority Hacker way.
The Authority Site System Review
The Authority Site System is meant to offer you everything you need to build your own highly profitable authority site. Once you know how to build your first one, you can do another two or three or more.
Who Should Buy The Authority Site System?
the Authority Site System is for you if you’re looking to kickstart your quest to make money online with a website, have a website already but are still struggling to generate your first $1,000 per month, and if you’re looking to build a portfolio of websites that generate passive income as efficiently as possible.
On the other hand, the Authority Site System isn’t for you if you’re looking for a “get rich quick” scheme, you’re not in it for the long term, you want to be spoon-fed with every bit of detail (you need to leverage the Authority Hacker community and the private Facebook group to help you solve problems unique to your website), or you’re on a tight budget.
How Does The Authority Site System Work?
The Authority Site System course, at its core, teaches learners how to build a Stage 1 authority site as part of the authority site business model.
According to the Authority Hacker team, there are three types of an authority websites, namely Affiliate, Ads, and Products
A stage 1 authority website revolves around one type of traffic and income as follows:
This refers to the organic traffic generated from search engines, mainly Google. The Authority Site System shows you how to ascend to top positions on Google for your chosen keywords. That way, you can draw people to your website for free.
TASS is one of the good affiliate marketing courses for people looking to start their affiliate marketing journey. It teaches you how to sign up for affiliate programs on platforms like Amazon find quality products to promote and recommend to prospects.
At Stage 1, The Authority Site System doubles down on strategies to help you make between $2,000 to 10,000 per month and, by extension, “an employment replacement income.”
TASS claims you can make as much as $100,000 per month in affiliate income with Stage 1 authority websites.
Still, you’re better off diversifying your traffic and income sources once you hit $2,000 and possibly quit your job since you have more resources and the time to work on your site.

The Authority Site System is a legit affiliate course.
While it doesn’t go into detail about generating traffic through paid strategies, it is one of the best courses if you want to learn the basics of building authority websites and, by extension, a successful online business.
