What Is Connexa Terra? [Whitney Tilson Metaverse Stock]

Empire Financial Research’s very own Whitney Tilson recently released a presentation  where he talks about a concept called “Connexa Terra.”

When I encountered the presentation, I was curious to find out what that was really about and why Whitney, a seasoned investment analyst and former hedge fund manager, is keen on an apparent new technology that he thinks the top 50 tech companies are obsessed about.

He also claims that you can make 10 times your money if you invest in five stocks that are about to “take control of it all.” And by “it” he is referring to the new technology he is calling Connexa Terra.

In this piece, we will take a closer look at the presentation to find out what “Connexa Terra” really is as well as why Whitney Tilson has taken such a keen interest in it.

Introduction to Connexa Terra

Whitney Tilson, the founder of Empire Financial Research, recently released a presentation where he introduces us to something he calls “Connexa Terra.” It is a new technology that he thinks will be incredibly impactful to the economy as well as alter how we live our lives.

Connexa Terra

According to Whitney, Connexa Terra will slash your medical bills, cut your grocery spending, drop your transportation costs, lower your travel expenses, and even reduce what you pay for gas.

A technology that impactful is undoubtedly likely to excite many in the tech sector and Whitney points out that it has done just that. He says that big tech companies are already spending large amounts of money to develop it in the hope that they will not be left behind by a technology that could disrupt the entire $85 trillion global economy.

Tech giants like Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Dell, Verizon, and Twitter have already invested in this technology and they represent just the biggest players taking a keen interest in Connexa Terra, per Whitney Tilson.

Whitney also says that the US government, and more specifically the US Military, has also sunk a lot of money into this technology. He says that the U.S. Air Force has invested $70 million, The Navy has put up $156 million, The Marines $32 million, the Army $22 billion, and the Coast Guard and Space Force are in there as well with undisclosed amounts.

What is Connexa Terra?

Having seen all this interest from big tech companies and important branches of government, naturally, you must be wondering what “connexa terra” really is.

Connexa Terra, Whitney Tilson tells us, is Latin for “connected earth.”

He says that some in the media have been referring to it as the next version of the internet.

But he is taking it beyond that. He says that Connexa Terra is not just the next version of the internet, it could replace the internet entirely.

At this point I should point out that his description of it sounds a lot like what many people refer to as The Metaverse.

It appears that Whitney Tilson is keen on The Metaverse. He says that it has been around for a while and been used for concerts, video games, meetups, and other uses. However, he argues it could become even more prominent in our lives.

The Metaverse is defined as a network of 3D virtual worlds focused on social connection. In futurism and science fiction, the term is often described as a hypothetical iteration of the Internet as a single, universal virtual world that is facilitated by the use of virtual and augmented reality headsets.

The Metaverse has been all analysts talk about these days with a with most of that interest sparked by Mark Zuckerberg when he did his now infamous presentations announcing that his company would be pivoting towards the Metaverse as the next dimension in social interactions.

When the leader of the biggest aggregation of social media entities tells the world that the Metaverse is the next big thing in social interactions, people are bound to listen.

And that’s without forgetting the small matter of him renaming Facebook to Meta (FB).

The financial newsletter world has certainly not been left behind and I’ve already fielded presentations from the likes of Jeff Brown and Ray Blanco each arguing their case and presenting us with the investment opportunities within the Metaverse that they think we should be considering.

Whitney Tilson’s Connexa Terra presentation is his take on how we should invest in the Metaverse.

He says that as the technology gains momentum, there are companies we should consider adding to our portfolios to cash in on the wave.

Whitney Tilson’s Five “Buy Now” Stocks

As we have already seen, Whitney Tilson is eyeing several investments that he is recommending to you if you are to take advantage of the “Connexa Terra” trend.

His first recommended investment is Meta Platforms Inc. (FB), formerly known as Facebook.

We have seen that Mark Zuckerberg is one of the key proponents of the metaverse. He is taking it seriously if his renaming of the company is one thing to go by. Not to mention the apparent 10,000 new hires and $10 billion per year invested to shift his company’s focus from mobile internet and social apps to the metaverse.

Whitney Tilson says that if you are to invest in Meta Platforms Inc. (FB), you should hold it in the long term and you should not buy it for more than $375 per share.

As of writing this in mid-January 2022, here’s how the 6-month chart looks like:

Whitney Tilson's Connexa Terra

The second investment is a company in the music industry.

Whitney Tilson says that this company has a catalog of subsidiaries in 42 different countries and 15 different recording labels.

It has certainly been around for a while because he says that it has worked with everyone from The Beatles and the Bee Gees to Michael Jackson and Ray Charles.

It earns almost $6 billion per year and employs more than 8,000 people.”

He adds that it is now featuring a new four-member band that will perform using the Metaverse’s world-changing tech.

The third company on Whitney Tilson’s list makes computer chips and software tools that enable company to collaborate in building “connexa terra” tools.

The fourth investment is not a stock. It is a cryptocurrency that is cheaper than Bitcoin (which really isn’t much of a clue because they all are) and its platform is what most new cryptocurrencies are built on.

The fifth stock is in the gaming industry. Whitney says that it is not the maker of Minecraft, Roblox, or Fortnite, the three most popular gaming franchises.

Instead, it’s a relatively unknown company that has been around since the ’80s and has produced some popular video game titles. So far, he says that it publishes a wildly popular online game that has more than a dozen iterations and the beta version of their newest version has already been played by 7.7 million people.

Unsurprisingly, it is a well-established and already profitable company that he says is going to be one of the major players as “Connexa Terra” hits full stride.

He has written about those five investments in detail in special report called Five Ways to Earn 10x on the World’s Biggest Tech Shift.

This special report includes the names of the five investments, their ticker symbols, and detailed instructions on how to get in at the best possible price. According to Whitney Tilson, the best thing you can do as an investor is to position yourself in front of a massive, inevitable trend.

Is Connexa Terra Legit?

I think Connexa Terra is a legit presentation.

For one, Whitney Tilson is a prominent investment analyst who is widely respected by his peers in the financial world and his word is always worth considering. You don’t have to agree with him on his investment recommendations but he is someone worth hearing out.

On top of that, the Metaverse, which he refers to as “Connexa Terra,” is a legit trend worth taking seriously. Whitney is not just exploring some fringe trend but something that is being monitored closely by smart investment analysts.

As I said, you don’t have to agree with Whitney Tilson’s top picks but the metaverse is something worth exploring in the short term and long term.

Connexa Terra Verdict

The Metaverse is something that is widely seen as the future of social interactions. Given the mainstream adoption of cryptocurrencies and blockchain-based technologies like non-fungible tokens, there is a clear trend towards a future where people will embrace virtual worlds with decentralized currencies.

Then there is the development of Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality technologies that will also serve to usher us towards a world where people spend a lot of time in virtual-reality based worlds. Therefore, it doesn’t come as a surprise that seasoned veterans in the world of finance are seeing investment opportunities amid all that.

Given the hype surrounding the Metaverse, expect it to be a big talking point for most investment gurus in the world of financial newsletters just as we saw Cannabis dominate 2019 and 5G stocks and cryptocurrencies feature heavily in 2020. We have seen multiple presentations about it and we will keep an eye out for future ones like this one that get released.
