She claims that this historic move will alter the nature of money in a way that would’ve been impossible a few years ago.
This sounds a lot like the introduction of a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).
A CBDC is a digital version of a country’s fiat currency. It is similar to a crypto but its value is fixed by the central bank and underlying fiat currency. Many countries are developing CBDCs, and some have even implemented them.
Many investment analysts believe that a digital dollar is not entirely a good thing because they make it easier for “the elite” to exert control over the populace.
