Looking for a review of Flashpoint Fortunes.
I recently received an invitation to check out a presentation by Ted Bauman and Clint Lee that was promoting the newsletter and they suggested that the trade recommendations they give can earn you more profit in a month than 95% of ordinary investors make in five years.
After sitting through the presentation to learn more about the presentation, I wrote this review to give you an overview of how the newsletter works.

Introduction to Flashpoint Fortunes
Flashpoint Fortunes is a newsletter that is published by Banyan Hill and edited by Clint Lee.
As Clint and Ted Bauman were pitching it, they claimed that the investment advice people are to receive if they join it will give them the chance to earn more money in a month from their investments than 95% of investors make in a period of five years. This, they say, will give you a leg up over other players in a $2 trillion quant market.
The trade recommendations that Clint plans to share with members of Flashpoint Fortunes are expected to earn 99% profit with each trade being held for an average of 36 days.
Clint Lee tells us that they ran a back test on the strategy and in the first few months of 2020, despite having the worst market conditions, it could have pinpointed at least seven opportunities to make triple-digit gains with zero losing trades. He expects to it to carry that on into the future when he subjects it to live trading.
I should point out that in the pitch, Clint admits that the trades they were mentioning and the gains they were parading were all from the back test. They have not started recommending trades just yet.
Even as they showcase the results of the back test, not 100% of their calls were correct. Nearly 8 out of 10 of the trades registered positive returns.
Clint projects that a stake of $17,500 can earn you $1 million in five years.

How Does Flashpoint Fortunes Work?
Flashpoint Fortunes features quantitative investing strategies that Clint Lee has developed over the years. He finds ways to identify the right opportunities and avoid high-risk trades to enable retail investors to enjoy big but safe gains.
His approach is to find “flashpoints,” which are essentially moments before large amounts of money goes into stock. The big money is driven by machine trading, which has become all the more dominant as a means of trading.
Some analysts estimate that machine trading accounts for half or more of the total trades made at any given time.
The trading system identifies the stocks that are expected to experience huge price movements upward or downward (driven by heightened volume) at their flashpoint. Whenever Clint Lee witnesses a new flashpoint in the market, he analyzes it.
If he determines that it could be a potential profit-making opportunity for his subscribers, he sends out an email alert explaining how to trade it. He accompanies that with in-depth and easy-to-read explanations.

He even has an MBA and holds chartered market technician and chartered financial analyst designations. Flashpoint Fortunes Verdict
Flashpoint Fortunes is an investment research service that is designed to help ordinary investors to make huge and safe gains. It is headed up by Clint Lee.
The subscription is backed by Clint Lee’s 365-day promise that states that if you are not happy with your Flashpoint Fortunes subscription, you can call the support team and they will let you use your subscription fee to join any other premium service offered by Banyan Hill.
Don’t forget that all the profits that Clint posted during the presentation were based on a back-test that he conducted. Therefore, before you sign up for his $1,495/year newsletter, you should at least wait for the strategy to be implemented with real money first.
I am mentioning this because although back tests can be used to retrospectively evaluate a trading strategy, they cannot predict the future.
