“My lead generation secret,” also referred to as “My Lead Gen Secret” or “MLGS” is a sales funnel that enables you to be more effective at generating new leads that can ultimately turn to sales.

It is a lead generation system that offers you 100 to 200 leads every day – when you first pay for the service, they give you 100 leads but they allow you to double them to 200 through referrals.

It also comes with a built-in email system that enables you to send emails to your prospective clients every 23 hours.

This is not the first time I am covering such a program; I have shared reviews of other income systems like Super Affiliate System, Commission Alpha and OPM Wealth which all offer ways to make money through referrals and email marketing tactics.

How does My Lead Gen Secret Work?

When you first join the system, you pay $30 for the first month up front on top of a setup fee of $30. In total, you pay $60 to get started in your first month.

After that, you’ll be paying $30 every month for your 100 leads (per day). You get 10 email templates to send to your leads as part of this deal.

They allow you to cancel your subscription at any time.

To double your leads from the system-approved 100 to 200, you should refer at least one paying customer to the system.

This means that your referral has to pay $60 in their first month for you to get your extra 100 leads per day for life.

Master Swipes

You can boost your chances of success by enlisting for the “Master Swipes” emails. These emails are expertly written by Jim Harmon, who is an accomplished digital marketer in his own right.

These emails are more effective because they have been tested and seen to be more effective at converting cold leads into prospects.

The caveat is that you have to pay a one-time fee of $59.95 to get them.

Fortunately, you can activate the discount plan by reaching out to the customer support representatives via the chatbox on the landing page of My Lead Gen Secret.

When you activate the discount plan, you only have to pay $29.95 for the emails on the condition that you purchase them the same day that you ask for the discount.

Another thing you should know is that even within the “Master Swipes” program, there are certain emails that convert better than others.

You can earn a $100 bonus every week by referring five new paying subscribers during the 7-day contest period.

There is no limit to the amount of money you earn as bonuses; for example, you can earn a $500 bonus by referring 25 new members and so on…

How do you make money with My Lead Gen Secret?

The MLGS compensation system is not as complicated as some sales programs you may have encountered. By this, I am referring to the affiliate commissions system.

You can earn a commission by referring new paying members who either pay for the basic package or the basic package plus an extra email swipes package.

It follows a simple compensation structure:

You earn $5 per month for direct referrals.
You earn $4, $3, $2, and $1 for the referral levels underneath your direct referrals up to level 5 ($1).
You earn a one-time commission for Master Swipes purchases up to five levels deep.

You can withdraw your earnings via PayPal, Bitcoin, or Check.

Is My Lead Gen Secret Legit?

One thing you should know about the service is that the leads you get from your monthly subscription are cold, as they are generated from co-registration.

Co-registration basically means that they opted into the list cold with a bunch of other lists too, which is why the leads are so cheap.

This means that the people who receive your first batch of emails have no idea who you are and why you just emailed them.

Therefore, you have to warm them up first to make them receptive to your sales pitch, when you eventually send them one.

In your initial emails with them, do not try to sell anything to them because they don’t know you; if you do, they will most likely banish you to the spam folder because that’s all you are to them.

Thus, with those first emails, establish a relationship with them first.

The problem that many unsuccessful people have is that they approach their leads the wrong way.

Those leads don’t turn into anything significant and they feel frustrated with My Lead Gen Secret, which isn’t usually at fault, to begin with.

Pros of My Lead Gen Secret

You only have to pay for Master Swipes emails once. There is no monthly renewal fee.
You can get a 50% discount on Master Swipes if you ask for it via the chatbox on the landing page.
There is a substantial monthly income to be made by referring other people

Cons of My Lead Gen Secret

Although you get leads, they are usually cold; this means that you have to ‘warm them up first.’ You need to be a good marketer to successfully convert them into prospects.
Email auto-responders like Aweber, GetResponse, MailChimp and others DO NOT allow co-registration leads, so you will be limited to the MLGS mailer
You cannot promote MLGS via existing services like Aweber (they informed me that they had banned MLGS)

My Lead Gen Secret Verdict

While many people have found My Lead Gen Secret to be helpful, many others complain about MLGS thinking that it has it all wrong.

What the second group fails to understand is that the system doesn’t just hand them leads on a platter; they still have to work on them to turn them into prospects.

Another thing I should point out about MLGS is that you need a lot of leads to generate sales or referrals. You may be successful within your first month, but most people realize progress one month into using the system. It is a numbers’ game: You need to accumulate a lot of leads to produce results.

However, you can improve your odds by using “Master Swipes” emails (which you have to pay extra for).

They are more effective at persuading your leads because they are written by a marketing expert and they have been tested rigorously.

Overall my verdict is a neutral one, I see the potential benefits of being part of MLGS however I think the fact that it relies on co-registration leads is potentially dangerous since this limits your usage of those leads as the major auto-responders won’t actually allow you to mail to them.

That being said, if you are happy to stick with the MLGS mailer it could provide a source of income, just set realistic expectations.
