Introduction to The Four Step Profit Formula
The Four Step Profit Formula was meant to promote Andrew Keene’s Super Options investment research service, which we will get to later in this piece.
His trading strategy is pegged on four criteria based on which claims he can now identify the best stocks for even bigger gains.
So, what’s new about the strategy?
First, he says that you need to ignore what the talking heads on TV say about the market and focus on where the smart money is headed on the market, which he calls “tracking institutional order flow.” This means he observes how institutional investors are investing and he bases his approach on how they trade in a classic case of following the money.
The next step is to identify the hottest sectors where the smart money is flocking to and make note of them. These sectors typically have a lot of investor interest and money moving into them.
What follows is subjecting the stocks he identifies in the hottest sectors to his super options criteria. He calls it the “Four-Prong System” because it has four criteria that each trade must meet to be considered for investment. The four elements are:
- Each company should have low float. Float is the number of shares that are available in the market for traders to buy and sell. The fewer these shares are, the better a trade is, according to Keene.
- He looks for companies with a market capitalization over $100 million because they tend to have better liquidity than those below that threshold.
- A company should have an Earnings Per Share (EPS) growth of at least 20% year over year to be considered by Keene.
- The fourth element is the Relative Strength Indicator (RSI). The RSI — sometimes also referred to as Relative Strength Index — is a momentum oscilator that gauges the speed of and changes to price movements. It ranges between 0 and 100 but it is considered ideal when it is between 30 and 70.
The fourth and final step in the “Four Step Profit Formula” is finding option trades with a 71% win rate going back eight months. Rather than trade the stocks directly, he opts for trading the options.

Is The Four Step Profit Formula Legit?
The Four Step Profit Formula is legit. It is an investment strategy that was designed by Andrew Keene, a well-known investment analyst who’s also behind presentations like Super Squeeze Profits. The bottom line is that I have found his presentations to be legit before and this one is no different.
However, there is a difference between that and the strategy delivering as he says it has the potential to. There are no guarantees in the market and his strategy may not work as he says it may for that reason. Therefore, do not join his newsletter hoping to make a lot of money.
The Four Step Profit Formula Verdict
The Four Step Profit Formula is an investment strategy on which the Super Options advisory service is based. The four steps involved in the strategy can be summarized as follows: monitoring the market to determine where the smart money is headed (i.e. which sectors the smart money is moving into), finding the best stocks within the identified sectors using his four-prong system, and trading options on the best stocks.
Although all these sounds easy and straightforward, before you sign up for Super Options, do more research into Andrew Keene’s strategy. Do not just take his word for it. Also, do not invest more money than you are willing to lose because you may lose money on your trades.
