Introduction to The Publisher’s Table (Matt Insley) 

The Publisher’s Table is a new subscription plan being pushed by the publisher of St. Paul Research, Matt Insley, to give you greater access to the subscription services that the firm offers. St. Paul Research is an independent boutique publishing firm that offers newsletters and advisory services that target retail investors.

The Publisher’s Table is similar to another similar plan that was offered by the firm a while back called The Publishers Passcode. They are similar in the sense that just as the publisher gave subscribers access to all the advisory services offered by the firm back then, it will be the same case this time too.

As he promotes this new plan, Matt Insley says that when you join the Publisher’s Table, you will gain access to insights from the editors at the firm directly. He mentions gurus like Greg Guenthner, Ray Blanco, Alan Knuckman, Zach Scheidt, and Dave Gonigam. He says that you will receive all the insights they publish via their individual advisory services, including the ones that don’t make the cut — those that are under consideration but aren’t published.

This will allow you to sort through their ideas and find the ones that you think are suited to your investment strategy. Speaking of investment advisory services, when you become a member of this new service, you will automatically become a subscriber of the following newsletters:

It is a sort of all-encompassing subscription because once you sign up for it, you don’t have to sign up for these services individually. Matt even promises to sign you up for newsletters that haven’t yet been released that the firm starts offering in the future.

Who Is Behind The Publisher’s Table?

The subscription plan is being pushed by Matt Insley. He is the head publisher of St. Paul Research.

In addition to being a publisher, Matt is an in-house investment analyst who has expertise in commodities and natural resources. He has a degree from the University of Maryland with a double major in Business and Environmental Economics. Insley’s commentary has been featured in MarketWatch.

As for the editors, they include:

Alan Knuckman, an specialist in options trading who has had multiple appearances on CNN, CNBC, Bloomberg, and Fox Business. He has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. He began his career at the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT), which is one of the largest derivative exchanges in the country.

Zach Scheidt is an investment analyst, writer, and speaker. He specializes in income investing and, in his investment advisories, he writes about finding the best dividend stocks. He edits Lifetime Income Report and Lifetime Income Report Pro. 

Ray Blanco, is affiliated not only with St. Paul Research but also with Agora Financial and Seven Figure Publishing. He specializes in investments in the technology sector and also writes about cannabis stocks.

How Does The Publisher’s Table (Matt Insley) Work?

First, as we’ve already seen, when you subscribe to The Publisher’s Table you are given access to all those newsletters. In that sense, it is like an all-inclusive VIP Pass and you do not need to renew. We have also established that you will not just automatically get access to every publication that the firm offers currently, but also services that it is going to publish in the future. 

In addition to that, there are many other perks that come with the membership:

  • Weekly updates from Matt every Friday. In these emails, he talks about the market and the events that have transpired during the week.
  • Access to all virtual and live events. You will be allowed to attend all conference calls and summits (where you can ask the editors questions) as well as live events where you can attend physically. This includes “cocktail hours” where you watch the editors pitch their best investment ideas. When you attend “cocktail hours,” you get an exclusive signature cocktail menu as a bonus.
  • Access to customer support.

Pros of The Publisher’s Table (Matt Insley)

  • It will provide with an all-in-one subscription to every publication of the St. Paul Research group which significantly reduces your membership fee. This means that you pay less for an all-inclusive membership than for the services individually.
  • There are no annual fees or maintenance charges.
  • You will be auto-subscribed to all the services that the firm will offer in future.

Is The Publisher’s Table (Matt Insley) Legit?

The Publisher’s Table is a legit subscription plan being offered by St. Paul Research.

First, I think that the firm is legit because I have reviewed it before and given it a clean bill of health. Therefore, I think the money you pay (if you decide to join), is not going to an illegitimate or “non-existent” entity. 

On top of that, this kind of subscription plan is not unique to St. Paul Research because we’ve seen other firms offer such where they seek to increase the number of members. Sometimes they do it to reward loyal members or even to increase their cash inflow. Whatever their motivations, these plans are legit.

The Publisher’s Table (Matt Insley) Verdict

Although I think The Publisher’s Table is legit, you don’t have to join it if you are not interested in any service we listed through earlier. It is best-suited to people who are already subscribers to one or two services and are seeking to cut costs and gain access to even more services.

It reduces the cost of subscribing to these services significantly because you don’t have to renew your membership and the upfront fee for the whole package is even cheaper than an annual subscription of one of the high-end services.
