What Is The Weekly Options Alert?
Not to be confused with the Options Alert by Jeff Yastine and Brian Christopher, Weekly Options Alert is a trading service run by Michael Carr. He started it to help investors make insane profits every week.
His target audience is people who are still relative newcomers to investing – those who would like to invest but have never done it before. He promises to educate them and give them sound advice.
This is not the first review like this I have done, in fact I regularly share reviews of investing services from free newsletters by the likes of Banyan Hill and Angel Publishing to premium subscriptions too.
Some of my recent reviews include Dark Burst, The Dark Window, Profits Unlimited book and The Everyday Income System.
Feel free to check them out after you finish this review.
Michael’s system is designed to spot profitable options on the SPDR Dow Jones Industrial Average ETF Trust (DIA). Since he doesn’t fancy buying and holding, he goes for options that have the potential to bag substantial returns quickly.
Michael sends alerts every weekday.
He selects his trades based on how consistently productive they will be, week after week.

How Does The Weekly Options Alert Work?
As a subscriber to Weekly Options Alert, you receive:
- Michael’s Weekly Options Alert Trading Manual: The trading manual runs a quick breakdown of Michael’s strategy. It covers the basics of options trading in case you are new to it and even covers the kinds of trades you can expect from this service.
- Trade Alerts: When Michael’s system finds a potentially profitable play, it sends an alert to its members in the form of an email. The emails typically come with instructions on how you can execute the play. The system goes off with a trade alert every two to three times per week. On days when there are no trades, it informs you that there are no opportunities that day so you are always in the loop.
- Access to the members-only website: As a member, you gain unfettered access to the encrypted website. It has all the weekly updates, trade alerts, and tutorials created to help new traders familiarize themselves with options trading.
- Access to Weekly Options Alert Model Portfolio: The model portfolio keeps a score of how much the recommendations shared on the newsletter have grown since the service was launched.
- Dedicated Customer Service Team: You will be backed by a team of professionals. They help with any questions or concerns you may have concerning your subscription. You can either email or call them whenever you need to sort something out.

Is The Weekly Options Alert Legit?
Weekly Options Alert is not a scam.
We couldn’t find any reason that would lead us to conclude that it is anything other than a genuine service.
Honestly, there isn’t much negative feedback about it and looking at Michael’s track record with his other services, we are hard-pressed to say that it is nothing short of a genuine advisory service.
Sure, there are a few losses every once in a while but such is the nature of trading that you must take a few knocks before you hit a home run.
Pros of Weekly Options Alert
- The fast-paced nature of the service opens you up for more opportunities to record returns. Fortunately, there is plenty of action to capitalize on using Michael’s strategy.
- It is the ideal platform for beginners. There is a decent library of resources to get you up and running.
Cons of Weekly Options Alert
- Options trading is inherently riskier than other common forms of trading. You can argue against that but there are safer alternatives albeit with fewer gains.

Verdict For Michael Carr’s Weekly Options Alert
Michael Carr is the go-to guy when you want advice about options.
His system keeps the recommendations coming thick and fast to enable you to nab as many profitable trades as possible.
His service is well suited to newbie options traders because his trading manual is the ultimate guide to options trading – and everything is laid out in plain language.
Be careful with his recommendations as they are merely meant to nudge you in the right direction – you still have to choose the ones that will work best for you and of course there are no 100% guarantees here.
Ultimately though unless you are already an expert when it comes to options trading you will have far more success in my opinion following someone like Michael Carr.
