Introduction to $30 Trillion Megatrend of The Decade

The $30 Trillion Megatrend of The Decade is the title of a webinar that was hosted by Chris Hurt, featuring Jeff Brown. We managed to get our hands on the video recording and after watching it, there were some big revelations and predictions from Jeff.

The discussion centered on a mega trend that Jeff claimed would be bigger than 5G, AI, and the Blockchain in the next decade. He had a device that has the tech that will be behind this big trend.

$30 Trillion Megatrend of The Decade

In the video, Jeff reveals trend he was referring about is something he calls ESG Investing, which stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance. It has nothing to do with renewable energy and instead focuses on two new exciting technologies; Electric Vehicles and Artificial Intelligence.

When you bring the two together, you have self-driving electric cars. He says that electric cars will soon be ubiquitous as people buy them instead of gas-powered ones not because of environmental concerns but because they will be cheaper. Industry experts recently concluded this after conducting research.

As electric cars reach mass adoption, Jeff says that companies, besides the EV makers like Tesla (TSLA), involved in their production will all see massive gains. This includes battery makers, lithium miners, charging station manufacturers, and the likes.

However, Jeff acknowledges that Tesla is leading the charge towards fully Autonomous EVs (they haven’t achieved that yet) and they will be the ideal company to look at as you consider ESG investing.

How to invest in The $30 Trillion Megatrend of The Decade

Going back to the device he had in the presentation, what does it have to do with investing in the $30 trillion megatrend?

It was a camera that is usually mounted on the windshield of self-driving Tesla EVs. Jeff was saying that it contains sensors that allows the car to detect obstacles as it drives on autopilot. He wants you to invest in the company making the sensor.

Tesla doesn’t typically reveal who their suppliers are and Jeff was saying that he did his research and found out who supplies the sensor. As he was describing the company, I realized that he had described it again in a presentation he did a few weeks ago called Elon Musk’s SAV Project. In that, he was talking about Tesla leading a robotaxi revolution.

What do we know about the secret supplier?

  • It’s share price is 95% cheaper than Tesla (at $700).
  • Fortune Magazine once named it the fastest growing company in America.
  • It makes 10,000 other car products, mainly semiconductors (including the power semiconductors that bring the cost of batteries down).
  • It also supplies General Motors.

Jeff reveals its name and symbol in a report called How to Make a Fortune From Tesla’s Secret Supplier that you can only get wen you sign up for a newsletter called The Near Future Report.

You don’t have to read that report because after piecing together those clues, he is referring to a semiconductor manufacturer called ON Semiconductor Corp. (ON). It makes a wide variety of consumer and industrial tools and its share price has been ranging between 35 and 40 dollars since the beginning of 2021.

Is $30 Trillion Megatrend of The Decade Legit?

$30 Trillion Megatrend of The Decade is a legit presentation because Jeff Brown — an actual investment guru — talks about investing in a company that manufactures the semiconductor components inside the sensors used by Tesla for their self-driving feature. Although I couldn’t verify whether this is true, the company actually exists and you can buy stock.

$30 Trillion Megatrend of The Decade Verdict

Jeff Brown believes that self-driving electric cars are the future and that they will be the big trend of the 2020s. While this is plausible (Tesla seems to be making major strides in that regard), fully autonomous cars are still far from being realized. What we have are self-driving technologies that enable you to take your hands of the steering wheel although you have to stay in the driver’s seat.

Experts cannot even agree whether we will realize self-driving capabilities in the next few years, leave alone decades. So, it is hard to tell whether this will be the megatrend of the decade.

However, since ON Semiconductor Corp makes other products, it may (or not) be a good shout. Do your research and do not invest more than you are ready to lose.
