What Is Profits Unlimited?

As I mentioned above Profits Unlimited is a financial newsletter by Paul Mampilly published that gets published by a financial research firm called Banyan Hill Publishing.

Let’s get one thing straight from the beginning: Profits Unlimited is not a scam.

Profits UnlimitedPaul writes about the stocks he would recommend that you invest in and these predictions are arrived at through an investment strategy where risk management features heavily.

I should mention that Paul also recently launched a book by the name Profits Unlimited: A Wall Street Insider Reveals the Secret to Life-Changing Wealth where he has written about his investing career, what he has learned over the years, and the investment strategies that average citizens can implement to pay off their debts and retire comfortably.

Circling back to the newsletter, Profits Unlimited is a premium subscription; therefore, you must pay to join it unlike a free newsletter like Bold Profits Daily.

Paul claims that Profits Unlimited gives Main Street investors access to hedge-fund level research and he focuses on stocks that are in emerging industries like precision medicine, the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, and 5G.

Since he started running Profits Unlimited, the newsletter has seen an average gain of 27% per trade with a total return of 336%.

How Does Profits Unlimited Work?

Paul urges readers to get in on the ground floor of innovative companies that are about to experience explosive growth. These are the companies that don’t get enough press coverage and most investors are unaware of them until it is too late to purchase stocks cheaply.

This approach is not unique to Paul as I’ve seen other newsletter gurus like Louis Navellier and Jeff Brown (of Brownstone Research) swear by it.

Paul has been investing in what he terms as “innovative companies” for over 25 years and has developed a knack for finding the best tech stocks riding revolutionary trends like AI, precision medicine, and the Internet of Things in the stock market.

He claims to have been one of the early investors in Facebook, Whole Foods, and Netflix, three companies that ended up earning him big profits.

He says that such investments exemplify the kind of thing he does for his Profits Unlimited subscribers: finding the diamonds in the rough before they rise and become massively successful companies.

Paul Mampilly only goes long on stocks and his trades remain open for anywhere between six months and three years.

Who Is Paul Mampilly?

Before we talk more about the Profits Unlimited newsletter it’s important we profile the man behind it all: Paul Mampilly.

paul mampillyI’m not going to do a comprehensive review of Paul since I already did that in my in-depth review of Paul Mampilly. In this overview, I’ll be brief and if you wish to learn more about him, you can check out the full review.

Paul Mampilly is a former hedge fund manager who was born in India. He made his way to America and in 1991, he was hired as an assistant portfolio manager at Bankers Trust.

Before Paul Mampilly started working for Banyan Hill Publishing, he had been on Wall Street for over 20 years during which he had worked for some big-name companies. These include the likes of Deutsche Bank, ING, RBS (Royal Bank of Scotland) and Swiss investment banks.

He then worked for an asset management firm where he was managing hedge funds. While he was managing a hedge fund for the firm, it performed well and it ended up being named the “world’s best hedge fund” by Barron’s.

At the time, Paul was handling multi-million dollar accounts (assets under management) and owing to his ability to navigate the market, was able to generate positive returns even when the stock market tanked.

Paul and his team also got involved in a competition where they generated profits while there was a financial crisis ravaging the stock market. They achieved this without going short.

After spending all that time making money for wealthy investors, Paul decided it was time to retire from Wall Street in order to spend more time with his family.

It was at this stage that he decided to join the Editorial team at Banyan Hill, a company that publishes financial newsletters targeting individual investors. Banyan Hill is part of Agora Financial.

It’s here that he launched Profits Unlimited in 2016. The advisory service has since gained tens of thousands of subscribers.

Paul Mampilly has appeared on Fox Business News, Bloomberg TV, and CNBC.

What you get when you join Profits Unlimited

Profits Unlimited is a paid newsletter. That means that you pay for it on a yearly basis and in return you receive regular newsletter emails.

These emails provide you with all the information you need to invest in the stock picks he chooses. Is Profits Unlimited Legit? [Unbiased Reviews] 7Each month, Paul picks the stocks he thinks you should buy and he shares specific strategies and projections for each stock that he recommends.

Here are the benefits to joining Profits Unlimited:

  • Monthly briefings (monthly newsletter). Every month, you get an issue of the monthly newsletter with in-depth analysis of a new investment. In his analysis, he includes every important detail you ought to know to understand why it is a good trade.
  • You have access to Paul’s Model Portfolio. The Profits Unlimited portfolio has all the stocks on his “buy now” list which he updates every time he makes a stock recommendation. The model portfolio shows you what to buy, when, and for how much.
  • Weekly updates. Every time he updates the Profits Unlimited portfolio, he shares an update where he goes over major market trends, any news events surrounding his stock picks, and what you need to look forward to in the coming months. His weekly updates keep you up to date on everything pertaining to the service.
  • Trade Alerts. When Mampilly wants to share crucial information that cannot wait for the monthly briefings, he sends you one of these trade alerts. This could be him recommending a new stock or telling you that a trade he has recommended is not performing as planned.
  • Access to the Profits Unlimited Website. All the past and current issues of the newsletter as well as special reports are archived on the website that you get to access any time you want.

Paul recommends stop losses of 8-12% on every trade.

If you are new to the term “stop loss” it basically means exactly what it says: A “stop loss” is a pre-defined price that your trade will automatically close out at to prevent you from losing more money.

With a stop loss of 8-12%, you have a tight range to work with and as far as investing goes, losing that amount per stock trade is relatively small considering the up-side potential of some of the Profits Unlimited stock picks that Paul Mampilly recommends.

You will also receive special reports when you sign up for the newsletter.

How Much Is The Profits Unlimited Subscription?

As of writing this, Profits Unlimited includes three subscription plans:

  • Standard subscription at $47 (digital)
  • Deluxe subscription at $129 (digital and print)
  • Premium subscription at $79 (digital and print)

Note that these are annual subscription rates that can change without warning.

The Profits Unlimited newsletter also has a 365-day refund policy which seems pretty comprehensive to me.

Normally these things only have 30days, 60 days, or no refund policy, so 365 days is not that bad.

The refund policy states that if for any reason you decide the newsletter isn’t for you then you can contact their customer service team and get a full refund.

Remember that a “full refund” doesn’t include the losses you make as you invest in the stock picks.

Is Profits Unlimited Legit?

Profits Unlimited is Legit.

When I first heard about the newsletter, I was a little skeptical but after learning more about Paul Mampilly, I think he is legit. In addition to being a successful former hedge fund manager, he has done quite well since he started editing newsletters.

The proof is in the model portfolio, which shows that he has earned a positive return overall.

Besides, I have read many a Profits Unlimited review and the feedback seems to be quite positive.

Can You Trust Paul Mampilly’s Profits Unlimited?

Since the newsletter was launched in 2016, his top recommendations have seen gains of 56%, 64%, 73% and even as high as 235%.

If you had invested money in every recommendation Paul made without fail, you would have outperformed the market because his model portfolio shows that you would.

However, the recommendations he makes should not be considered personalized investment advice and, therefore, you should not base investment decisions solely on his recommendations.

Does Profits Unlimited lose money?

Obviously some of the stocks that Paul recommends to his Profits Unlimited subscribers lose money.

Since anything can happen in the market, you cannot have a 100% record. Paul is honest about his losses and has never claimed to have a 100% success rate because that would be false.

For example, five of the recommendations he has made out to members of the Profits Unlimited subscription in the past year lost money recording an 11% loss.

However, on average, the winners far outweigh the losers.

Therefore, if you had invested in every stock he recommended, you would still have made a considerable profit.

What Are The Alternatives?

At the time of writing this there are some alternative investment newsletters to Profits Unlimited out there besides Paul Mampilly’s own Bold Profits Daily (he offers it free or charge).

Therefore, if you are looking for an investment service that focuses on tech stocks that could undergo explosive growth and deliver massive profits, you can try Growth Investor by Louis Navellier, Near Future Report by Jeff Brown, or Investment Opportunities by Matt McCall.

You can also try one of the more popular newsletters offered by Banyan Hill Publishing right now by Charles Mizrahi called the Alpha Investor Report.

You can also go for newsletters that are published by Money Money Press (an investment research firm that is also owned by Agora Financial).

Profits Unlimited Conclusion

Is Profits Unlimited Legit? [Unbiased Reviews] 8Do I recommend Profits Unlimited?

After going through all the information I have gathered about it, I am giving it a neutral rating for the simple fact that I am not currently a member of the newsletter.

I have reviewed Profits Unlimited and Paul Mampilly and I think he is legit.

The results that the newsletter has achieved are decent and Paul has a good track record. There seems to be many positive reviews out there from people who have followed Paul’s recommendations that are happy with their returns.

That being said, I cannot recommend this to you because I am not a member of the newsletter and I don’t recommend what I am not actively using or are a part of.
