When I received the email promoting it, as I am sure you have, I decided to take a closer look to find out whether there’s anything new about it considering I have reviewed a couple of Paul’s webinars before.

Introduction to The American Prosperity Summit
The American Prosperity Summit is the title of a video presentation by the prolific investment guru, Charles Mizrahi, where he discusses the current state of the financial markets.
Although the webinar was hosted by John Burke and Sarah Palin (Sen. John McCain’s running mate in the 2008 presidential elections), it was all about Charles Mizrahi because they focused on his investment strategy as they also promoted his advisory service.
Needless to say, the markets have been rather volatile the past few months, and we can credit that to the advent of the coronavirus pandemic, which shut down the global economy. There may be some underlying issues driving the volatility but it was the catalyst.
The turbulence that followed has not made investing easy, which is why Charles released The American Prosperity Summit to offer some guidance, as well as promote one of his investment newsletters.
This isn’t particularly new as we’ve seen other gurus release their versions of this. A few that I have reviewed recently include The Final Wave of 5G Millionaires (about 5G investments) and Strike Zones by Michael Carr where he promotes his new “recession proof” trading strategy.
As mentioned earlier, the strategy is promoted by the Banyan Hill publishing group, one of the most reputed and renowned investment advisory firms.
Charles Mizrahi’s Alpha Investor Strategy
In the American Prosperity Summit, Charles Mizrahi explains that his approach is based on a three-step strategy.
Step 1: “Alpha Industry”
This means that he looks for a stock that is in an established but growing market. In the technology niche, he looks for companies in 5G, Artificial Intelligence, and Cloud computing and in health care, he looks for biotech stocks in precision medicine that are working on therapies for millions of baby boomers.
That is his definition of an Alpha Industry.
Step 2: Alpha Management
With this one, the focus is on good leadership, which he refers to as “alpha management.” In this step, he seeks companies that have CEOs and leadership teams that have great track records of increasing earnings, revenue, and share price over a long duration.
Step 3: Alpha Money
In this step, he evaluates a company’s financial health to determine whether it has solid financials (or “Alpha Money”). He studies the balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. He also goes through the notes attached to the financial statements and dives into the 10-K reports to read every word the management team has said about the company.

Who Is Behind The American Prosperity Summit?
The American Prosperity Summit was hosted by Charles Mizrahi, as we’ve established. He is an investment guru and he has made a career out of offering general investment advice directed at retail investors.
He is the editor of Alpha Investor, one of his more popular investment advisory services. As one of the leading figures at Banyan Hill, he has an uncanny ability of spotting unique money-making opportunities that can offer good returns over time.
He started his career on Wall Street at the age of twenty when he joined the New York Futures Exchange. Soon, he established himself as a successful money manager. He also worked for firms like Citibank, Credit Suisse, and Goldman Sachs.

How Does The American Prosperity Summit Work?
The American Prosperity Summit promotes Alpha Investor Report, a newsletter through which he recommends “under-the-radar” investment opportunities to his subscribers.

Is The American Prosperity Summit Legit?
The American Prosperity Summit is legit.
This investment strategy focuses on the top-performing stocks (Alpha stocks) that are expected to offer more than 100% in positive returns. These stocks are hand-picked by Charles Mizrahi, who is experienced enough in this industry.
He has a track record of picking stocks that have gone on and done well for him and his subscribers. However, that does not guarantee that his future picks will be as profitable.
That being said, the fact that he offers a one-year refund policy means that he is confident that his picks will do well.
The American Prosperity Summit Verdict
If you are an inexperienced investor, you could use a bit of guidance from an experienced trader such as Charles. He has been trading professionally for 35 years and that counts for something.
Alpha Investor Report, which is published by Banyan Hill Publishing, is a follow-along investment advisory service worth trying out. At $47, it is well within reach of most people but you should not consider it the ultimate tool for achieving your financial dreams because some of Mizrahi’s advice will not yield returns. The good thing is that if within one year you decide to cancel your membership, you can always ask for a refund.
That being said, you should not use Charles Mizrahi’s advisory service as a substitute for a financial advisor because most of what he does is offer general advice. It is not tailored to your unique investment needs (and he mentions this in the fine print).
Although Sarah Palin was involved in the summit, that should not sway you from assessing everything objectively.
