Agency Navigator Review: Legit Worth It?

Welcome to my Agency Navigator review.

Agency Navigator is a training program by Iman Gadzhi that is designed to teach you how to create and grow a digital marketing agency.

As he promotes the program, Iman Gadzhi hypes it up as a “foolproof” (in quotes) formula for creating a successful agency.

But is Agency Navigator a legit program and is it worth it?

In this Agency Navigator review, we will go through what Agency Navigator is, how it works, and whether it’s worth trying out.

We will take a closer look at what it comprises and by the end of this, you will be in a better position to decide whether it is any good for you.

What is Agency Navigator?

Agency Navigator is an online training program created by the digital marketing guru, Iman Gadzhi.

The goal of this program is to give you access to Iman Gadzhi’s secrets that he has used to build his own successful digital marketing agency.

It should be noted that whilst Agency Navigator still exists, the course has been rebranded to Educate.io

Agency Navigator Review

They teach you how to launch your own digital marketing agency (social media marketing agency), find clients, and secure an income stream that earns thousands of dollars every month.

When you join Iman Gadzhi’s Agency Navigator, you are supposed to learn how to run paid ads on platforms like Facebook and Google, how to create content, improve your conversion rate, email marketing, social media marketing, and other aspects of running a digital marketing agency.

Agency Navigator was designed to provide the tools you need to achieve your objective but the results, as is usually the case with these programs, depend on how you apply the lessons.

Now you may be wondering, why should I pay all that dough for a program when I can find all these resources online for free?

From our experience, what a course like Agency Navigator does is guide you to the right resources rather than you having to figure out everything on your own, which can be time and resource-consuming. At least that’s what it is meant to do.

The program is meant to bring you into contact with someone who has succeeded in the arena of digital marketing so they can help you shorten your learning curve.

Starting and running a successful agency takes effort and it is supposed to be easier with Agency Navigator.

Iman Gadzhi claims that he wants to reform the education system, which is something that people like Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, have been saying.

Iman does say that he will help you to start making money and eventually quit your job, but can you achieve that level of sustenance?

With the rise of hustle culture, many people are questioning the wisdom of taking on huge debt to go to school when they can just start a side hustle to make money and have the freedom to live a life unshackled from the 9-5 grind.

Now, it is worth saying that the formal education system is still relevant and useful to society because despite what people say on the internet, many people benefit from going to school and having careers.

Besides, society would fall apart without doctors, engineers, dentists, surgeons, and other highly specialized professionals.

Having said that, you should have the option to go a different route if you feel stuck in your job.

If starting an online business with the help of Agency Navigator is the way to go for you, you should have that option too.

Who is Iman Gadzhi?

Iman Gadzhi is an internet marketing guru who has a large following on social media. He has launched other programs such as Six Figure SMMA and Agency Incubator but it looks like they are no longer active and are possibly being replaced by Agency Navigator.

Gadzhi was born in Russia in a small Russian town called Dagestanskiye Ogni. He was raised by a single mother.

They moved to England when he was still in school and that’s where Iman’s entrepreneurial journey began.

Iman Gadzhi is an internet marketing guru

Iman realized that the internet was where all the money was, so he started flipping Instagram accounts and offering freelance photography and videography. Then he started a content creation agency.

His ventures made him a lot of money and he dropped out of school at 17 because he was making $15K per month.

He started a YouTube channel and started sharing his journey, right from when he quit school. He didn’t get many views when he was starting his channel but over the years, it has grown massively and he now has over 2.4 million subscribers as of writing this.

Iman Gadzhi YouTube Channel

The YouTube channel works like a time capsule because you get to watch Iman Gadzhi take the first steps of his online career in 2015.

It also goes to show just how far he has come: starting as a personal trainer, dropping out of high school, building a leading online advertising agency, and making $30m by the age of 23.

His videos now regularly get hundreds of thousands of views and he has become an accomplished YouTuber and talented filmmaker in addition to his other accomplishments, which is impressive because he is only 23 years old as of writing this.

He runs a content agency called IAG Media through which he offers Agency Navigator.

The agency has worked with well-known brands like Oura Ring, Kevin Rose, IKNK, and AJ&Smart, just to mention a few.

He is also affiliated with AgenciFlow, an agency management software that aims to replace tools like Slack, Asana, and Simple Invoices.

How Does Agency Navigator Work?

Agency Navigator is an online program comprising more than 50 hours of video broken into 8 modules. Each video is accompanied by a write-up.

The videos vary in length, usually 30 – 60 minutes.

When you pay for the program, you get access to the video library and you learn at your own pace. In addition to video, there are other resources such as community access, weekly Q&A sessions, templates, sales scripts, and more.

To start your training, you have to sign up for the program and pay the fee as there is no free trial period.

As you sign up for the program, they ask for your personal details, which include your email address, phone number (mandatory), how much you make per month, and your business and lifestyle goals.

When you are done with that, you become a member of Grow Your Agency, a platform from which you will access all of Iman’s courses, such as Agency Navigator Fast Track, Pen To Profit, Entrepreneur Productivity, Apex, and, of course, Agency Navigator.

Grow Your Agency platform

When you buy Agency Navigator, you also get Agency Navigator FAST TRACK.

Agency Navigator gives you access to a proven business model that Iman uses for his business. He estimates that you can earn up to $10K per month if you apply his lessons religiously.

His agency works in a structured way that he breaks down into four elements:

  1. Glorified Contractor
  2. Boutique Agency
  3. LMDR (Lean-Mean Results-Driven) Agency
  4. Private Equity Incubator

Agency Navigator covers the first two. To get the other two, you have to buy another course called APEX.

  • Program Principles
  • Agency 3.0 Model

It covers the following elements:

  • Preparing the Vessel
  • Mental Metamorphosis
  • Monk Mode
  • The War Path
  • Social Engineering 101
  • Pragmatic Day in Life
  • Keeping a Tight Ship

This module teaches the importance of having the right mindset. According to Iman Gadzhi, your mindset is what determines whether you will succeed or fail.

Many people ignore such content and want to go straight to the meat and potatoes of being an agency owner, but from our experience, having the right mindset will put you on the right path.

With the right attitude, you will handle challenges better when they come up and you will be equipped to tough it out during periods of failure.

Module 3 – Systems and Processes

It covers the following elements:

  • Pricing Guidelines
  • Pricing your Services for Local Businesses
  • Pricing your Services for EComm and Online Biz
  • Paid Trails Playbook
  • Attracting A1 Clients
  • Tax, Accounting, and Finances
  • Getting Paid
  • Communications and Retention

You will be introduced to the basic elements of running a business. This includes how to get clients, how to price your services correctly, how to do your finances (a quick overview), how to communicate with your clients (overview), and how to get paid (an often underrated skill).

When you are running a business, pricing your service is one of the toughest things you will need to master and this module introduces you to a system that will help you out with that.

Module 4 – Finding Leads and Setting Meetings

It covers the following elements:

  • Laws of Outreach
  • Creating An Irresistible Offer and Angle
  • Finding Leads and Qualifying (Free)
  • Paid Strategies for Lead Gen
  • Storing and Organizing Leads
  • Profile Funnel

  • Upwork

This module teaches you how to find clients. Iman describes the process from scratch particularly if you have never run an agency before.

  • The Cardinal Sins of Sales
  • Sales Sub-Communication

  • Refining Approach & Sharpening Saw

You may be wondering, now that I have leads, now what?

This module seeks to answer that question by showing you how to nurture leads and convert them into sales.

This is the part where you convince businesses that are on the fence that they should hire your agency for their digital marketing needs.

You will be provided with sales scripts and objection responses to help you automate this process.

Although these things are important, from our experience, you shouldn’t just use them as a crutch. You should learn how the marketing bit works first (module 6) in case you have to go off-script because you will come across as knowledgeable.

Besides, if you don’t know what you are promoting, your prospective clients will detect that and they will not want you working for them.

Module 6 – Service Delivery (Fundamentals)

It covers the following elements:

  • Kick-Off and Onboarding Call
  • Facebook Ads Fundamentals
  • Facebook Hygiene and Avoiding Bans
  • All About Tracking
  • Funnels and Offer Fundamentals

  • Reporting 101
  • Crafting Copy That Converts

Having landed your clients, you now have to help them promote their business as you promised in your sales calls.

In this module, you learn how to onboard your clients and set up campaigns. It’s the most comprehensive part because you learn how to run Facebook ad campaigns, set up sales funnels, write copy that converts, how avoid Facebook bans (which are common), and how to track your campaigns, among other things.

Module 7 – Service Delivery (How to Advertise)

It covers the following elements:

  • Traffic Warmth
  • Interest: Sizes and How to Find The Best Ones For Your Case

  • Core Concepts to Keep in Mind

What is The Agency Navigator Fast Track?

This is a program that you get when you buy Agency Navigator and it is broken into six phases and six weekly masterclasses, namely:

  1. Select a service and a niche
  2. Mindset
  3. Clients
  4. Prospecting
  5. Sales
  6. Service Delivery (Fulfillment)

You can think of it as a condensed version of the full course whereby the lessons are taught via Zoom calls. To ensure that you have understood the subject matter, there are tests you have to complete after each masterclass before proceeding to the next one to keep you active and accountable.

You can tap into the community for hints and clues as you complete each week’s mission.

What is APEX?

APEX is the main upsell you get exposed to when you purchase Agency Navigator. They tell you that it is the next level you’ll have to join to harness all of Iman Gadzhi’s knowledge.

Iman says that only the students who have seen great results with Agency Navigator already should sign up for APEX; basically, students who run a successful digital marketing agency.

Therefore, it is an application-only program for Agency Owners doing $10,000+ a month who want to scale to 8-figure earnings. You have to schedule a call with an APEX Student Integration Manager to apply for a spot.

If the first target is to make $10,000 every month, APEX is meant to help you scale to $100,000 monthly.

Agency Navigator Pricing

So, how much does Agency Navigator cost?

Agency Navigator costs $1,499 for unlimited access.

Agency Navigator Pricing

You can bring down the cost by signing up for the program with a promo code. Some people have been lucky enough to pay $995 for everything, which includes Agency Navigator and Agency Navigator Fast Track (which normally costs $3,000).

Agency Navigator refund policy

The disclaimer reads:

“If you’re not satisfied with Agency Navigator, send an email to support@growyouragency.com – as long as you’ve purchased within the last 14 days, you’ll get a 100% refund.”

Who is Agency Navigator For?

Agency Navigator is a program that is designed to help you build a digital marketing agency from scratch. The goal is to make up to $10,000 every month and later increase that to six figures.

The course is not for everyone because not many people have the temperament to start a business.

Agency Navigator is a program that is designed to help you build a social media marketing agency from scratch

For example, starting an agency needs you to have a strong work ethic and develop a thick skin to handle the disappointment of failure when you are starting. You have to be patient because success will not come overnight.

You also have to be prepared to talk to people because that is a crucial element of sales; you are convincing people to hire you to be their digital marketing or social media marketing consultant.

This means that the program is not suited to people who hate social interactions (there are other ways for introverts to make money, fortunately).

The Agency Navigator’s mindset training and accountability structure are there to help you through those challenges.

The type of person who thrives when they take a program like this one is the one that is charismatic and outgoing.

In terms of skill and experience, the Agency Navigator program is for anyone who is prepared to put what they learn to practice, according to Iman.

Our analysis of Agency Navigator has revealed that it is tailored for beginners because it goes back to the basics (experienced marketers who want a refresher can take it too).

We found the APEX program to be suited to a more experienced audience because it is considerably more expensive than the foundation course meaning it is targeting someone with the financial means.

Is Agency Navigator Legit?

Based on our firsthand experience Agency Navigator is legit. When you sign up for it, you learn how to build your own digital marketing agency. Some of the claims Iman makes sound overly ambitious but that doesn’t mean it is a scam.

It’s reasonable to think it is not legit. Perhaps the images of flashy cars and luxury living may tip you off. Or the fact that Iman Gadzhi is in his early twenties and claims to have achieved a lot, which you think is perhaps too much for his age.

But you should ignore those instincts and focus on the material in the course and what it says about setting up digital marketing agencies. As far as we could tell, the program is genuine and you will get a ton of value when you sign up for it.

Having said that, let’s not rule out the fact that it may not be the best at teaching you how to start an agency and there may be cheaper courses out there that provide the same value or better.

If you decide to purchase Agency Navigator, you must be prepared to get to work because you have to close sales and provide value to your clients. The $10,000 a month won’t come to you on a silver platter; you have to work hard to secure clients, especially when you are just starting and have no experience or body of work to show.

Benefits of Agency Navigator

  • There is in-depth training about running and testing paid ads.
  • The accountability aspect helps you stay on the right path.
  • There are Weekly Q&A calls.
  • You get many tools and resources to help you start your digital marketing business and make money online.

Drawbacks of Agency Navigator

  • The big complaint we have is that Agency Navigator does not teach enough about service delivery. It does a decent job telling you how things work but the focus is a bit narrow because, for a digital marketer, you need to be more knowledgeable. Even if you are expected to hire freelancers to work for you, you’ve got to know what you are selling first and that’s not adequately catered for in the course.
  • Iman Gadzhi’s Agency Navigator does not do a good job of showing students how tough it is to start an agency. Launching an online business is not easy for most people and the messaging does not drive that point home well enough.
  • The 14 days they give you to try out the agency (the period when you can ask for a refund) is not enough time to judge whether you are getting value for your money.

Agency Navigator Verdict

Agency Navigator is still a relatively new program by Iman Gadzhi. Therefore, there aren’t many third-party reviews online or Agency Navigator success stories to give us a better idea of what other people think about the course.

Since Agency Navigator appears to be an upgrade of Iman’s previous programs, let’s draw from the experiences people have had with them.

One of the main complaints people have about Iman Gadzhi’s courses is that he does not teach you the nuts and bolts of marketing itself, instead showing you how to outsource that part of your agency to a freelancer.

There is also a lot of focus on paid traffic, which means that you may have to purchase another course to learn about organic traffic, a key aspect of digital marketing.

Nevertheless, Agency Navigator does a decent job introducing its students to what it takes to start and run a digital marketing agency. This course can be helpful to students who have some experience in marketing and would like to learn how to get clients and set up an agency.
